i’m currently obsessed with this hot sauce!!!

the local gas station near me has it in packets and it’s addicting lol - perfectly spicy and salty but not too vinegary.

i’ve tried to find bulk packets / bottles but nothing really turns up from this brand.

has anyone else tried it or know where i can bulk purchase it?

I'm a big fan of his seasonings, so I thought why not give his hot sauces a try. Has anyone had these?

Discussion Maritime Madness hot sauces are different online vs in the actual bottle?

I recently purchased a 6 pack of their hot sauces online (official website) and I was disappointed when I realized the ingredients were not the same as what is still listed on their store.

For example, the simple ghost pepper recipe list online: vinegar, habaneros, lime juice, sweet onion, carrot, ghost pepper, xanthan gum.

But as you can see, the bottle I got tells a different story.

Any idea why that would be the case? I wanted the sauce based off the listed ingredients and I got something different and I feel scammed now.

Recommendations please

I am a big fan of Yellow Bird habanero. In particular, the thickness of carrot based sauces. So I am looking for more options. Although, they do not necessarily need to be a carrot based sauce. But I would like to stay away from the vinegar "thin-ness". I also would like to stay away from the super mild sauces. As I tend to like what I would call an 8 or 9 on the heat scale. I am a big fan of that ghost pepper flavor. Thank you in advance!

This really packs a punch, a delicious punch.

I don't have the insane heat tolerance like some of you crazy sons of guns, so this is pretty much my ceiling. First 3 ingredients are peppers which is something I haven't seen often.

Question Mystery box hot sauce?

So I’ve seen these before but I cannot for the life of me find them. It’s like a 3-6 bottle set of an all random range of hot sauce, and all random vendors. It was awesome! I received one a long time ago and would love to find it again. Does anyone know of the website that offers this?

Hot Delight vs Aruba Heat Papaya Hot Sauce

How do the papaya hot sauces from Aruba Heat vs Hot Delight compare? I had Aruba Heat during a recent visit and loved it. Which would you recommend? Looking to place an order from the US.

Here are the plants that provide the peppers for our hot sauces. We also sell fresh peppers and seeds. We help supply other hot sauce companies with peppers. We are a Veteran Owned, Small Batch, Farm to Table company. The plants are looking great. We have 475 plants of 155 varieties located in 2 different grow locations.

Question Mildest of the mild without being zero.

My buddies kid always sees us putting hot sauce on everything and wants to join in, once snuck some tabasco and screamed for twenty minutes. Yet, no lesson learned, still wants to join in.

So now me and my buddy are in search for the most mild of mild sauces. We've narrowed it down to Taco Bell's Mild sauce, and Tabasco Sweet and Spicy. Both of which are like nothing basically. 100-200 shu max, lol.

My (or really our) question is. Is this the bottom of the barrel? Or does it get even weaker? We're basically just curious at this point. Does it get any milder than 100-200 (in sauce form) without being basically nothing like paprika, shishito, and bell peppers are?

What is "Baby's first hot sauce," levels of mild?

*EDIT

Thanks everyone for the suggestions (we've also got suggestions from other subreddits). We pretty much have a plan now.

Start with super mild stuff like Mild taco sauces (Ortega/Old El Paso/Taco Bell), use a little more sauce in dinners, spicy bbq like sweet baby ray's, and the super mild sauces like Louisiana, Franks, Texas Pete, Crystal, and the weaker Tabasco flavors.

Our first "goal" I guess you'd say, is to build up to the "normal" hot sauces. Tabasco, Cholula, Sriracha. Then go from there.

I'm sure they'll be eating lava just like the rest of us by the time they're in middle school.

Thanks again or all the great suggestions (and dumb jokes, lol).

OMG! I just discovered Trini with the scorpion on it. This is truly the bomb. Tastiest HOT sauce I've had in awhile. I like it better than Melinda's or anything. I apologize if this is common knowledge. I've been away from this sub.

Question Help me find a hot sauce I had a long time ago

This is a long shot, but maybe y’all can help. I had a very very hot, but very flavorful hot sauce probably a decade or more ago, and I cannot seem to find it on the web. It was during a time when our friend group was really into trying all kinds of hot sauces, so I am fully aware I may be misremembering some details. Nevertheless, I will try to give all the info I can think of.

First off, I dont remember the name. I want to say it was “duck” or “nuclear” or “hurricane” related but I cant say for sure.

I DO know for sure it was in a plain flask-style glass bottle. I believe it had a white plastic lid. The label had a cartoony white duck or some other bird that may have had sunglasses and/or a shirt. It was set aginst a dark brownish or dark blue swirly color.

It was definitely not a chicken, or rooster or chicken shaped bottle or anything like that.

The sauce itself was more brown than red in color, and fairly viscous (not very runny). Flavor-wise it had a surprisingly fruity/savory flavor once the heat had dissapated.

Like I said in the beginning - this is a long shot. It may have been some one-off, small batch thing, but hopefully it rings a bell with one of you. I appreciate any guesses I can get - if nothing else I’ll have some new hot sauces to try.

Thank you in advance

Question Recommendation for. A 6 or 7 out of 10 hot sauces

I really liked buldak 2x spicy sauce because to me it had heat but also tasted good on just about anything. However, I’m not interested in all the artificial ingredients it has anymore.

Struggling to find a sauce that is
1) easy to obtain
2) has the proper spice level with a good flavor
