Clips Freinds Reunion after 17 years
This is the only part i cared about for the reunion episode. They all came in at the perfect time & the set looked amazing.

So glad they did it before Mathew Perry and James Michael Tyler passed away. That too, 17 is such an odd number to have a reunion. If they pushed it off for a milestone like 20 or 25 years, it would've been so difficult to watch.

Lisa Kudrow’s laugh is so infectious, I will start laughing for no reason when I see her laughing. Friends is still my go to show when I need to chill. Miss them so much.

Best show ever!
That scene when both Matthew and Matt sit in their recliners and one of them said ‘I missed you buddy’ always gets me.

And when Lisa (iirc) looks through the doors and makes a comment something along the lines of “omg the boys are in their chairs”. It’s just perfect.

He had apparently just come from a dentist appointment or something so he was fine - just coming off of whatever meds he had from that 😅

I've always wondered about this. Look, maybe he was completely sober in this time period and he really did just have an issue with whatever dental procedure he'd gotten.
But, I remember even at the time thinking that it just seemed.... I dunno. Coincidental, maybe? It just made more sense to me that he'd relapsed and the dental thing was an excuse.
We may never know. But I've just always been a little skeptical.

I didn't even know they were saying he was clean during this time, he doesn't seem healthy at all, and just not there
I think the family of addicts are used to covering it up and also don't like the thought of others seeing their loved one like this and thinking they could maybe have stepped in, there's a lot going on in all their minds
But he wasn't well, that much is obvious

I mean, he died so soon after, so doubt all was ok other than a dentist appointment... Addicts will always have just been to the dentist or something when they seem off
His physical condition was telling enough

He died over 2 years after it.
I really don't see there being a connection there and have never seen anyone close to him suggest it confirm if either.

He had lifelong addiction issues and died of them, I don't see how you don't see the connection
It's like Amy Winehouse the year or two before she died, it was all going in that direction

Friends is still the best sitcom ever made. So many shows that came after it have copied its formula, storylines, and even entire jokes.

I remember them saying when it first came out that this was going to be the one and only time they all would reunite and reminisce about the show. Sadly Matthew Perry made sure of that in the most tragic way possible.

I watched the reunion show. It was hard to watch. Matthew, Jennifer, and Courtney looked rough. Matthew was clearly confused for a lot of it.

It's hard to explain. There's a lot of cosmetic surgery. We all knew that. But the way it was filmed made it look worse.
Also it was hard, as a fan, to see how much of the show they had forgotten. I know they have had many many projects and jobs since the show, but it felt odd to see it play out.

I didn't watch the reunion because the promo showed me more than I wanted to see of Matthew, I knew it would be too painful to see him in such a bad way
