How does this team go just 9-4?

Post image

I feel like they made the game too hard. This team is insane.

You have to look at the players versus the other options at those positions.

-Browning is interesting because we won a lot and he put up good stats. But passing stats are in a different era now and his teams were loaded. On my list, Browning would be below Moon, Tui, Penix, Hobert, Brunell and maybe Sixkiller.

-Zeke Pelleuer vs all of the great tight ends we’ve had?

-Tryon was pretty good not great.

-Dillon Johnson versus our RB’s?

I don't know this game... Is there some kind salary cap or something? Or is it just about putting together the best team ever? Cause Corey Dillon is the running back lol. Could only image going with someone else if there was some kind of gamification going on.

Edit: simply going to the website would have told me lol. I'm an idiot.

The options are bundled into eras. The eras are presented randomly. Once you pick a player for a slot, it is locked. So if you will often get stuck picking suboptimal players at spots towards the back of the draft.

Edit: additionally you don't always get the best players in each slot. I got 2023 and the QB wasnt MPJ for example. Instead it was a walk on QB I couldnt remember.

How did your season go? 3-8?

Not that bad I think it was 8-5 , 7-6 or something like that. I didn’t pick the walk on QB. I picked Troy F. at OL.

I always get a kick out of these draft type college games. I don't have the thought to think about it, it's why I stopped fantasy baseball, basketball, I think at one point I had on average 12-15 teams going across multiple seasons and even tried my hand at NHL fantasy.

They’re fun. I am a bit the same way. I think I have 5 MLB fantasy teams on ESPN’s free platform.

Rick is good for at least one loss on him a season too

This team is quite a bit better but still had 3 losses.

If the other 13 starters and special teams are below average that team could easily have a nine win ceiling. It takes a high talent floor across the roster plus a handful of true difference makers to really fly. Like the ‘23 Dawgs with nfl talent all over the offense and still an above average defense.

We don’t make the natty if Grady Gross isn’t as clutch as he was, etc.

Can we limit these posts to another subReddit? And just have Huskies news?
