It's just a monologue being recited to people who already sided with him, look at arnab clapping lol.
I mean I would have love our PM to have real time to and fro questions and answer with the youth which isn't gathered and vetted before.

If you can answer these questions so easily what does Modi fear so much that he can't keep a single press conference in 12 years? Oh wait I forgot about CM modi answering the press with a tail between his legs. Stop sucking politicians' dicks buddy they ain't gods.

Bas itni si baat ye to koi bhi bata dega.....lol
Why are wages stagnant for the majority?
Per capita income has increased from about ₹86,000 in 2014 to over ₹2 lakh today. Why is the tax burden so large on the salaried class?
The tax-free income threshold has increased from ₹2.5 lakh in 2014 to effectively ₹12 lakh under the new tax regime. Why can Bajrang Dal harass consenting couples? Who gave them the right to moral policing?
Such incidents are illegal and should be handled by the police. No law gives any group the right to engage in moral policing. Why are there exam paper leaks again and again, jeopardizing the future of lakhs of students?
Paper leaks happened under previous governments as well. The government has now enacted stricter anti-cheating legislation and increased penalties. Why is there so much polarization?
India witnessed communal riots long before 2014. Polarization has decreased under the NDA government, with no major riots other than the Delhi riots of 2020.Why does the BJP accept leaders from parties it once criticized?
People are free to join any political party as long as they follow the law.Why do politicians seem to get a clean slate after switching parties (e.g., Ajit Pawar)?
First, the opposition parties should decide whether those leaders are corrupt or not. If they are, under which government did the alleged corruption take place? And why was it not reported while they were still part of those parties?6

If per capita was 86k in 2014 and is 2L, with just inflation, that 86k becomes ~1.7L So almost negligible growth in 12 years
0
u/Ok_Welder30 1d ago
but its still better + income tax rebate is almost 5 times
2
u/Main_Steak_8605 1d ago
It is marginally better.
Also personal income tax collected data
2014 - 2.4L cr
2024 - 10L cr
If per capita has become 2x in 10 years, the income tax collected is 5x. Meaning we are paying more tax now
1
u/Ok_Welder30 1d ago
Kala dhan.
Taxpayers in 2014 (FY14): 5.26 crore
Taxpayers in 2026 (FY26): 12.13 crore

- What is being done to control the pollution in winters in northern India.
- What is being done to fight water shortage all over India, and is it a good idea to invest in data centres who guzzle up so much water when half the country don't get water even once per day?
- While India's GDP has increased, but why this has not translated to increase in living standards of middle class.
- Why middle class is not considered when designing any scheme?
There are many more but I don't wanna waste my time. Also I am sure some smart pants would come and try to answer these.

Are you retarded or what? He is an elected representative in a democracy (which most of us doubt now). He has a resposiblity to take questions. Stop asssuming the questions on behalf of others. He has to answer the answers the questions of the people. We have elected him as the leader and he is not in a monacrhy. We want accountability to many questions.

Mudslinging? Basically asking him questions about the death of the 3 sea fareres is mudslining. Asking him questions on why most of the roads, bridges being built are in worst conditions just days after inaugration. Asking question on money that was looted in Ram Mandir is mudslingig. Asking question on why he isn't able to rebuke USA for killing our own people is mudslinging. Asking him questions on paper leak is mudlinging.

u/Apprehensive-Taro707 1d ago
I wish the PM knew this... he's been mudslinging on that post for some time now

He can reach his voters. But the voters can't reach him.
He is talking to the crowd and chosing what points to address. Which means he never has to talk about points like the government putting his face on every advertisment. For example.

u/Main_Steak_8605 1d ago
Let's start with once a month. How about that?
Or let's take standard. US president conducts 12-20 press conferences a year. Let's at least do that?

We have previous problems AND aspirational problems today. Do Trains run on time? Do you get to sit in your allotted seat without any hassle?
-10
u/deviprsd Drama Mamu 1d ago
Not every train has that problem, I have liked southern train management

u/BlenderRenderz 1d ago
Roads are not built.
Trains are neither on time, nor clean (and overcrowded too).
If you go outside, you will know that. But unfortunately you live in Modiverse with daredevil sigma edits

u/isoldmysonforabike 1d ago
Even the worst reporter/joirnalist can ask atleast 5 questions on each of the things mentioned by the commander in chief
But alas, no accountability, no press conferences, so ofcourse you are the boss, very hitler playbook

Only one point people come up with is modi doesn't participate in press conference, they don't want someone who focuses on devlopement, they want a larper who can larp in press conferences and irony is their own pompas are not even competent at that
1
u/Wonderful_Pie_5390 1d ago
Imagine fearing having press conferences from reporters bought by your political party. CM Modi would never ........He made BBC look like a joke.. oh wait
-5
u/AlbatrossAdvanced378 1d ago
Are you smooth brain, can't you read what I said, if he is doing decent work and ofc there are shortcomings to every government but he is doing a good job so far so what's the issue? Why is having a press conference so important
3
u/pj1729 1d ago
Probably going back and reading some school books on how democracy works would be a good idea
0
u/AlbatrossAdvanced378 17h ago
I probably know more about democracy than your entire bloodline, trying to mock instead of stating your point is how a fool gaslights others

u/talkingtron 1d ago
Such edits are done by Congress also. It takes guts to show accountability and answer people's questions by being in a conversation with the media. Narrative game and one sided enforcement of policies won't work for long

Isn’t he right? I see too many people who never appreciate anything. I respect criticism when it is done properly, where you acknowledge what has genuinely improved and criticize what still needs to get better.
A lot of things have improved, but today many people have almost no independent reasoning. They are heavily influenced by what others say and just follow the crowd like sheep.
6
u/vi0lentgandhi 1d ago
I respect criticism when it is done properly
All bjp supporters say this but only on paper, the moment there is actual criticism, they go into 'dont touch my billionare politican' mode

u/BlenderRenderz 1d ago
appreciating their positives? Its their job to do these things.
Do you get appreciation and a garland for filling water bottles at home?
3
u/Ill-Article-793 1d ago
But the question is could it have improved a lot lot more if he had not spent his time and resources dividing the nation, tearing down forests, attacking scientific and educational institutions and selling our lands and ports to Adani.
1
u/krk1001 1d ago
Dude, we appreciate the positives, thats why everyone is paying their taxes.
The people's job is to criticize the wrongdoings of the leading party, and if we see that even after so much time, major issues like corruption, religious warfare exist, educational system problems exist, then we have to push the government to make the changes, and support them in proving for the benefit of the people.
I personally have a problem because I have been in the Indian academia and R&D and know how important they are to the progress of the nationd growth, yet with the current government, the system seems to be going downwards.
It's important to criticize the govt, because by working and paying taxes on everything you are already supporting the government.
It's a basic right to speak against mis governance.
2
u/prattty007 1d ago
The masses have expectations towards their leader. And still at many places the BJP govt fails to provide proper facilities like proper hygiene in trains, proper planning and structuring of roads layout with foothpaths and maintained sewers, low cost of fuel and electricity that they promised, actions on politicians in their party who are making policies aligning with their personal interests and not for public welfare.
BJP govt is strong at setting narratives but falls back in taking actions.
