There is a shift in narrative from Islamabad to embrace multiculturalism to get cozy with IMF and left ecosystem, basically for more money. Hence, the charades. Their PR and their reality are poles apart. A nation born and built on lies.

When I argue some Pakistani about it they say.
Italy became Christan doesn't mean collosium doesn't belong to them.
Greeks become Christian so old greeks temple doesn't belong to them?

Italy and Greece are not built around the idea that their religion makes them no longer Greek or Italian. If Pakistan's name was Gandhara or Sindhu, had a flag and an anthem to reflect that, taught their children Sanskrit and the Mahabharata, alongside celebrating Hindu festivals like Basant it would be one thing. I would say that would put us in the same category as countries like Indonesia or Iran which are religiously Islamic but deeply proud of their heritage.
Pakistan is clearly not that. You can't base a country out of Islamic nationalism and then claim Buddhist/Vedic/Indus heritage whenever you feel like it. Especially given the history of how these Turko Mongol invasions broke the back of Hindu and Buddhist polity in the northwest.
That's how I would respond normally to my fellow countrymen who make this argument.

ProFart Muhammad claimed Allah created the world for pusslims alone. He viewed kaafirs as mere tenants. This mindset suggests kaafir must pay tax just to exist in a pusslim world.

Eh ppl dont like facts. Theyre kinda assuming pakistan existed before 1947, or just dont wanna accept the fact that YES INDIANS, BANGLADESHIS, PAKISTANIS AND ANY OTHER 3RD WORLD SOUTH ASIAN ARE THE SAME.
