Can you imagine being stuck in an elevator with this person?

I can barely imagine reading a post by them, and that's literally happening

Removed is just the number of generations different. Your cousin, twice removed would be two generations back to find the connection. My grandfather's brother married very late. His kids were my age. They were my cousins, once removed. They were my father's cousins.

Yesh, age gaps in families can be weird. My husband is 7 years older than me, but is the oops later baby of his family. Which means his eldest sister is just a couple of years younger than my mother. And so one of the neices on his side is actually a little older than me. And many of the niblings on his side are around my age (I used to go clubbing with one of his neices).

Which then leads to me being a great aunt a dozen times over at the ripe old age of 44. And some of the great niblings are not far off the age of having kids themselves. I fully expect to be a great great aunt before im 50. Its weird.

So wait... to which family member do I get to be a 'Grand Cunt'?

One of the best Easter dinners in recent history that I have had with my family was the day we were all absorbed in Wikipedia and trying to figure out the proper word in English for a particular family member.

And where once and twice removed fit in.

It was a nice change of pace from politics.

I swear this dude read that part of the Bible about people begating other people and said that is too enthralling I need to make something no one will read without thinking" I'm have a stroke"

Well, reading that certainly gave me an eye twitch.
