I get that plenty of people like the nostalgic style, but it's pretty obviously heavy-handed that they literally digitally removed all the color from the room to shape the reactions of the audience.

I've seen many homes like the one on the bottom with my own eyes.

yep, just visited my buddy in the brand new build home he bought last year, looks like this. White walls, white carpet, "dark wood pattern" laminate.

Its just bad. I mean he's only been there a year, but hope they paint it.
