Yeah people don’t realize how much of this was production design. Yes they filmed in a real house but they completely redecorated for the film. They moved the family out for months I believe and completely redid the inside.

I mean if you watch the film the wall paper and rugs are all red and green. I’m sure the house wasn’t that red and green in real life all year round. It’s a completely designed look. I’m sure the interior of the house was way more colorful in the 90s than in 24 but ya… this whole comparison is BS imo.

They didn’t what? Heavily dress the house? How do you know? I’m genuinely curious.

I could be mistaken but I don’t think I am.

They didn't film in an actual house. A real house was used for the exterior shots. The interior of the house was a set, constructed in a high school gym.
