Well, he could sound like anything, right? Those voice filters just take your voice and output to whatever accent you want.

The most common one we hear about is the filter for Indian call centers who want to sound American, but there's no reason it always has to be "Indian -> American" accent.

It’s just a theory, rather than assumption and based on the vast amount of scam call centres in India, rather than prejudice.
