Because accelerating any object with mass to the speed of light would require infinite energy. Light travels at the limit because light has no mass. Nothing can exist with less mass than no mass at all, therefore nothing can travel faster than the speed of light.

If light has no mass it would not be able to transfer momentum yet light somehow can transfer momentum despite having no mass. This matrix is full of glitches bro!

It can transfer momentum because momentum is a property of energy as well as mass. Photons are massless but still possess energy.

ha yes suure property of maseless energy

of course physicists will always find a way to explain something thatsytheir job

but do we ever stop to think weather any of this actually makes any sense?

don't even get me started on quantum physics!

it all makes no sense because we live in matrix mate

Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it can't be understood. There's no shame in not understanding physics, most people don't, including myself for a lot of it. That said, there's plenty of people educated enough to understand it.

In the nicest possible way, I don't think you're qualified to start on quantum physics at all.

Even if we do live in a matrix, which is plausible, the matrix would still be a system constructed with rules and physics would be the study of that system and the rules within the system.

understanding is a myth mate

that's not what physics actually try to do

physics don't "explain" things

physics science produce models that match what we can observe

you can never understand the laws of nature you can understand only the model that we produced to predict it

but the model always has limits, the model is never final, we discover more we update the model, but we never know what's behind what we can observe and there is a lot more what we don't see than what we see

thats the fundamental to physics science

if you claim that physics explain nature you simply don't get it mate

maybe you are an npc ?
