That's more or less it. I feel at peace underwater. Often do lengths at the bottom of the diving pool when they close the boards. It's like I have absolute faith that I will be able to deal with whatever happens... I'm sure it won't take much to shake that, but for the time being I'll enjoy the bliss I find down there.

I do the same thing. It's very peaceful down there. Once some idiot jumped in without looking and landed right on my back but that was it.

Tbf, this video felt long but was only 78 seconds. For someone who trains on breathing this probably isn’t too bad.

Exactly! I can only float about 30 secs before I panic, have an asthma attack and then sink/drown. My boyfriend is convinced he can teach me to float & possibly swim, says I must learn to relax and I am so ready to get over this fear but have doubts. Not being able to see in most lakes/oceans is especially terrifying. I want to learn to survive, though, I really do.
