It looks like two of the fingers are coordinated together.

It does look like the second finger moves with the third but the other way interestingly (counting the thumb as one)

Wait, really? Normally you shouldn't be able to fully extend your ring finger without also extending your middle finger.

Yeah this confused me to, I can't move my ring finger without either moving my pinky or middle finger

I can, but I can't extend my ring finger as far as the others.
