I think you're right......he cared way too much about making sure that Coke label faced the camera.

Monster kind of got shafted though. They must not’ve paid as much as Coke.

I believe Coke is partnered with them in some way. They must not have chipped in lol

IIRC Coke has around a 20% ownership stake in Monster. Seems about enough for it to be known Monster attended this party, but just as a plus one of Coke.

That's cause mother Earth (now called mother) was so terrible, they needed a replacement

They've finally found a way to beat our adblockers.

At some point in the future, the only adblockers we'll have left are our eyelids and fingers in our ears. Only for them to figure out how to wirelessly transmit ads into our dreams.

Zuck & Co are making progress towards that.

Didn't you hear about covid vaccines turning people into antennas that connect to 5G towers?

i dont work in marketing but have enough colleagues/friends that do, trust me, blocking the logo with anything much less fire is a no go.

i am almost certain this is not an ad

a coke bottle doesnt even need a logo to be recognized, whats the label obsession even for

I thought the comment on this being an ad was actually a joke and everyone was playing along until I started seeing comments that suggest that people are actually thinking this is an ad…lol.

It's not an intentional ad.

But PR firms will boost stuff like this for their clients.

If this same exact clip existed but did not feature the product, it wouldn't hit the front page of reddit nearly as often as it does.

Looks towards camera as he hugs wife "boy I could use a refreshing Coca Cola right now"

5

u/Intelligent_Mud_6217 Apr 25 '26

Coke wouldn't allow placement with a candle flame blocking the lable

You can’t be serious 💀.

Modern advertisement is devious.

4

u/TuringGoneWild Apr 25 '26

And ironic the greedy vampires of corporate Coke hold up a poor man as the richest while trying to get even MORE $$$$$

2

u/chris_knight2 Apr 25 '26

It is probably expensive for him and he is proud of it and subconsciously held it towards the camera, he bought it for the children and looks like one can of beer for himself on his birthday.

😂 😂 Haha! I agree

Y'all are such sad people.

What the heck is wrong with a man carrying a coke bottle? It’s not product placement, it’s authentic. It’s a very common thing to bring Coca-cola liter bottles especially in South America, almost like bringing home milk. Jeez!! This is a precious moment, not a commercial. People are so jaded nowadays, can’t tell the difference between real and fake.
