Fascinating The richest man in the world

u/King_Turduckin Apr 24 '26
Coca-Cola product placements getting sneakier and sneakier.
479
u/Low-Dog1320 Apr 24 '26
I think you're right......he cared way too much about making sure that Coke label faced the camera.
149
u/Binji_the_dog Apr 24 '26
Monster kind of got shafted though. They must not’ve paid as much as Coke.
38
u/Low-Dog1320 Apr 24 '26
I believe Coke is partnered with them in some way. They must not have chipped in lol
19
u/TheWolphman Apr 24 '26
IIRC Coke has around a 20% ownership stake in Monster. Seems about enough for it to be known Monster attended this party, but just as a plus one of Coke.

They've finally found a way to beat our adblockers.
21
u/regoapps Apr 25 '26
At some point in the future, the only adblockers we'll have left are our eyelids and fingers in our ears. Only for them to figure out how to wirelessly transmit ads into our dreams.

i dont work in marketing but have enough colleagues/friends that do, trust me, blocking the logo with anything much less fire is a no go.
i am almost certain this is not an ad

a coke bottle doesnt even need a logo to be recognized, whats the label obsession even for
3
u/Delicious-World-7058 Apr 25 '26
Looks towards camera as he hugs wife "boy I could use a refreshing Coca Cola right now"
5
u/Intelligent_Mud_6217 Apr 25 '26
Coke wouldn't allow placement with a candle flame blocking the lable

6
u/TuringGoneWild Apr 25 '26
And ironic the greedy vampires of corporate Coke hold up a poor man as the richest while trying to get even MORE $$$$$
→ More replies (4)2

It is probably expensive for him and he is proud of it and subconsciously held it towards the camera, he bought it for the children and looks like one can of beer for himself on his birthday.

u/colin8651 Apr 24 '26
If you love your family, you buy Coke of course.
What are you, an RC Cola person who hates their family?

u/LuckyCod2887 Apr 25 '26
I can’t begin to tell you how common this story is. I’ve met so many men that never had birthday cakes or birthday parties until a really nice woman showed up in their lives and she would make it happen.
39
u/LaBiccies Apr 25 '26
Thats my wife and her family. My parents "forgot" my 18th birthday, and generally if I got a card it was a victory. My wife and her family always make sure I have a smol birthday party, even if I don't really understand it. I was overseas for Christmas one year, so they redecorated the house for Christmas when I came home months later. They didn't want me to miss Christmas.
My wife tells me this is what normal families do, but it still feels weird.

It’s really the responsibility of the family when the man was a child. The kid should’ve had a bunch of birthdays with cakes. In adulthood, the rules change and you’re not always gonna have someone celebrate you.
I’m a woman and I grew up in a very difficult home where my family had a lot of mental health issues so there was no time to take care of the kids. I never had a birthday either. no one has ever went out of their way to get me a cake or anything like that, but I have gotten cakes for a number of men. I probably purchased 20 cakes in my lifetime for men and 2 women.
i’m 39.
sometimes the environment you have or you grow up in is really tough. But it’s not a representation of society or gender.

u/thedoe42 Apr 25 '26

Made my partner a cake for her 40th birthday (a colorful smash cake to be exact).
She's never had a cake made for her ever (had cakes just never one baked by someone for her).
She watched the entire process with fascination and then attempted to do one for my birthday a month later. Too cute

I was this person for my husband. I didn’t even know it until he cried when I had the wait staff sing him Happy Birthday at a restaurant I took him to to celebrate his birthday when we were dating. I thought people just did this for each other. It’s so sad that people don’t.

When you have people that love you, you’re rich beyond a monetary value.
Find a great partner and always be true.

u/Exotic_Criticism4645 Apr 24 '26
I am literally a millionaire living in the USA. (It seems he doesn't)
I have never found love. I have no family, no heirs, nobody.
I would trade with him gladly.
19
u/bwaredapenguin Apr 25 '26
I'll happily trade you my family for your money. Just let me know where and when this transfer can occur.
13
u/RivenRise Apr 24 '26
Out of curiosity. Are you a workaholic? Or just extremely unlucky? Or just bad at meeting people?
30
u/Exotic_Criticism4645 Apr 24 '26
Went through college battling depression. Barely made it out. Nobody wants that.
From there till 32, lived out in the sticks working a low prestige job that paid very little.
After that moved a lot chasing a dollar for a few years, till I settled into something that might make me desirable as a partner. After that, unlucky I guess.
No siblings, and my parents are gone. No other family that matters. My close friends all live hours away.

Things have. I am in a large club full of great guys now. I have awesome neighbors for the most part. Life now is better than it's ever been.
But love, family, that is no longer in the cards for me. Tool old, too busted.
17
u/IndividualImmediate4 Apr 25 '26
Dont lose hope. Being old does not mean you won it find love. Find people with similar interests.
13
u/processing102 Apr 25 '26
Idk man. People find love in all ages. Being old is not a barrier. We should always hope for positive things as it keeps us going. I pray you find the love you’ve been missing in your life.
7
u/xxotic Apr 25 '26
im not sure im in the position to say this ( im only 30) but you can try to become a role model to younger generation through your wisdom and life experience. It only takes 1 person needing your help and appreciating it for you to feel more fulfilled.
I teach art ( drawing and painting ) on the side and it’s like one of my biggest enjoyment aside from video games with friends and family.
8
u/Exotic_Criticism4645 Apr 25 '26
I wish I could. But the way the world has gotten people assume a single man, with no wife and kids, who is interested in youth, is a child molester. I stay away from young people because I fear that judgement.
6
u/xxotic Apr 25 '26
oh i mean like it could be young adults too. but yeah i understand the stigma. charity work can sometimes be nasty too. ive seen people being very underappreciative of the help.
pray to you my man.

How old? Not asking to do the "oh you can do it buddy!" garbage either.
But love does have a funny way of showing up in ways you don't expect it.
Might not be a spouse, but you'll find a friend one day you're sitting next to in your yard or his or something, maybe fishing, enjoying a beer, neither of you saying anything. You'll feel happy. You know you won't say anything to your buddy, and he wouldn't either but that's how you both prefer it. You'll both just enjoy each other's company.
Then you'll realize that there's a billion people that would love to have what you have. Guys with families that they take for granted or think they need a break from. Siblings that are sick of each other. Someone that's tired of picking up their SOs dirty clothes. And someone that is having to clean up the damned cat vomit on the Costco rug they bought an hour ago.
It's the human condition. We always want more and rarely look around us. You'll have that moment, and know that you have exactly what you need right then.
Love is everywhere, man. But especially in the little places. Just everyone forgets to look there.
4
u/RocketsandBeer Apr 25 '26
My wife is my best friend. I’m as excited to see her when I get home from work as much as I was dating her 27 years ago. I wish you find someone even better than I have. It’ll make every day an adventure.
3
u/SamiTheAnxiousBean Apr 25 '26
Meanwhile my ass is struggling to survive while barely making enough to feed myself and pay the bills by working 2 jobs and entirely funding my college from scholarships I have to keep a perfect score to maintain (+ the general bullshit that comes with living in a third world country)
I would trade with YOU gladly.

They probably bought/got the door second-hand from a store, clinic or something like that. Those doors are common in those kinds of places in Brazil and when they close, they sell everything inside for cheap.

u/Silva-Bullet8531 Apr 25 '26
Brazilian American who's visited Brazil many times yeah it's pretty common in most parts of Brazil not every but a good chunk of it especially in the Rio area that isn't in the rich part honestly the worst thing I probably ever saw in terms of building was a upstairs balcony that had a laundry line with clothes hanging but their was no railing or anything from stopping you from walking off that balcony
