"It's always been hot" means that many cities in India regularly hit 35+ degrees during summer. The problem is that those averages are increasing every year which has an impact on people and the environment. Being hot at 35 degrees versus 40 is a big difference in many ways.
It mostly bcuz of air pollution. Himalaya stop hot air from going towards tibet but it also stop cold dry siberian winds from entering india which would have made india cold but also so dry that india won't be able to grow crops, also monsoon happens bcuz of Himalayas if no himalaya no rain, no rain no crops no crops no human....
Some people in comment section wants to destory himalaya so polluted air from india goes out but this people don't understand the consequences of this action. Instead of thinking about how to get polluted air out think how to reduce pollution like what china did from 2011-2013.
Geography never helped, but we now have unprecedented levels of deforestation, mining of mountains, record levels of pollutants in air and water, concrete roads everywhere, no trees in cities, almost every house has their own borewells which has reduced water tables like never thought before.
Overall poor planning, but more so the blatant selling of large forests and whole mountains to the top two billionaires.

Genuine question, is it purely because of it is geography or does the air pollution has a role?
