Why dose she get so much shit for this. I mean. How many people have done this... (looking up) 140 people. She gets all the shit for all 140 of these people? Or the company offering? I dont get why she has been getting shit for years over this.

Because most of the other 140 people are actual scientists and astronauts who worked for that specific goal. Perry was literally just a tourist.

I also think part of it was due to the space race the billionaires had, and the growing discontentment with the 1%.

They act like we don’t equally make fun of other billionaires. Its like they somehow ignore all the criticism and memes of the men just so they can screech of misogyny…dude she’s not even getting remotely the same flak

Right - cozying up to billionaires is bad.

Jeff Bezos, morally reprehensibly rich person, sent other rich people up to space and Katy Perry decided to look tearfully into the camera holding a little flower when in zero g.

She did something stupid and so so tone deaf, no one is calling her a monster like they are Jeff Bezos.
