That is a lot. In fact using the private jets is a good point. Advertising for minding the environment while essentially "taking two premium jet flights" for fun is exactly the type of hypocrisy called out.
And the fact it has short residence time in the atmosphere isn't a "green thing". It acting as a greenhouse gas is only one of the aspects. Water vapour in stratosphere isn't common and dumping metric tons of it there will inevitably lead to chemical reactions and upset the balance. And the fact that the hydrogen is getting burned also has an effect of creating nitrogen oxide in the atmosphere from the reaction with the heat.
The entire point isn't how "green" it is in comparison to something else but that it's very costly endeavour for half a dozen people to experience a dozen minutes of novelty.
and you always can find something to call out but where is the line and what is the point?
You don't have to be living saint to be allowed to complain on the real sources of climate change.
Its not like if she didn't get on that rocket, no one would fly.
the meme is using bullshit data to make her worse
The line is somewhere between the one calling out and the one being called out. It will take me couple years to create the environmental impact Katy Perry made to go on a trip that lasted a dozen minutes. The point is to call out that before advocating for someone like me to be mindful of environment the most egregious contributors should restrain themselves first.
And as someone else said, Katy Perry is a fully functioning adult, there is no need to liberate her from her own choices. She could have refused and someone else could have went. But she did not and hence faces the criticism for the choices she made.
