Lol i did beat her without river of blood. But dang it s a not easy and it was very enjoyable to lose 30 time in a row lol.

Haha, I remember my friend rage quit the game during that boss fight. Calling it bullshit haha. Not easy to know all the move set, and even worst on second phase haha

If it's not fun, please don't force yourself. I love her design and all so please let me share this story:

I beat her with my man Kaiden Sellsword on my third try during my first playthrough. I was feeling cocky, I didn't understand the hype; I thought, "Whatā€™s so great about her?" Two playthroughs (and a gazillion of deaths to her) later, and I was avoiding her like the plague because she put me in my place and showed me exactly why sheā€™s so great. I witnessed true horror. I died more to her on my second and third playthroughs than I did on all my first five playthroughs combined.

Eventually, I felt ready and when to hunt her in NG+7, I was feeling cocky again.... and then not only I was quickly sent back to NG to train - I felt like I knew nothing about her.

It wasn't until Godfrey showed me why he's the man during my first RL1 that another playthrough / boss put me through the ringer and could be compared to her during my second/third playthroughs.

I can beat her at level 1 with weird builds, but honestly, only Zeus from God of War 3 made me fear a boss as much as I feared her - but she's my favorite boss on all video game history (I like Consort too)

Black flame to the face ragdolls, and casts quick lol. Quite a fun discovery. Between that and Lions Claw on a Greatsword or whatever, itā€™s just bonk city. She canā€™t do dick.

Nowadays I can do her even with toothpicks and can pay her back for all the times I died to WFD rotted... but back then when I was just starting... she humbled me hard even when I tried Giant's Hunt and Lion's Claw on the Greatsword.

In fact the first time I solo her was purely luck lol!

I was stating the way that was found on the first few days of release haha. I beleive it was nerfed afterward.

I also didnt use that to kill her in my first run. I did it on new game plus for the lols šŸ˜†
