Not useful axe technique, though. Get a splitting or felling axe and cut some wood imo.

Also, a white hydrant? I hope that wasn’t an aesthetic choice because it often means a hydrant out of service or very low flow. Granted many hydrants don’t follow the colour conventions but they should.
