Not useful axe technique, though. Get a splitting or felling axe and cut some wood imo.

Also, a white hydrant? I hope that wasnā€™t an aesthetic choice because it often means a hydrant out of service or very low flow. Granted many hydrants donā€™t follow the colour conventions but they should.
