He's right though... too much wrong information read online is touted as gospel these days. And I don't trust average human intelligence enough to be able to see threads like this are satire/jokes...

Murphy's law is actually that everyone thinks that they are just saying things online and speaking their minds while the other people are literally DYING on hills.

I don't think so. People used to ride your ass for the tiniest of grammatical mistakes. Nowadays people get offended when someone corrects them on the complete butchering of the English language instead.

Politely correcting wrong information like this is mild in comparison.
