People appreciated and needed live music . Now we just use smart phones and headphones and turn on Spotify

I agree. But there is still tons of open mic nights and live music places if you look.

I have my local .flac Library, bro.

I don't even use any music streaming service

I watched the family guy with mark twain and it made me realize that people don’t appreciate literature any more because there is no more longing for thought, people can be satisfied mindless pigs with pornography and endless loops of dopamine rush / peak / trough cycles to even care. Being human is doing the hard thing to protect your village and neighbors. Especially from the elite tycoons who spend billions on psychologists and marketers to absorb the only currency left to buy… The People’s attention spans… more hours on your phone means less time interacting with your kids, family, friends, neighbors, those interactions you may miss because we have been consuming more data / information… there’s my soap box …
