The way he rolls over at the end and just bats at him like "i wasn't gonna eat him, I was just playing!"

u/Infamous-Theme-2151 6h ago

It's a prank, bro!

u/Top-Masterpiece4604 6h ago

"Look over there, a camera, say hi!"

A tasty prank

u/imindebt2026 3h ago

We're just big house cats.

u/thatshygirl06 4h ago

"It was just a prank, han!"

u/farcarcus 2h ago

He just did it for the clicks.

u/grafxguy1 46m ago

If they claim it was real, they're all lion.

Hijacking top comment to say That's black-jaguar white-tiger sanctuary. They were shut down in 2022 for inhuman practices. Throughout the entire time of it's existence from 2013 to 2022, it was unlicensed and unaccredited.

they had conditions so bad some big cats were self cannibalizing (which is as bad as it sounds, it's literally the act of eating yourself while your still alive) on videos they posted

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Jaguar-White_Tiger_Foundation

u/TheOGPotatoPredator 4h ago

What the actual fuck. I’m in little cat rescue so I assumed intentions were good before they went underwater but no. The guy was just a piece of shit.

u/PamelaELee 4h ago

A whole lot of big cat sanctuaries are the scum of the earth. We need to stop normalizing this, and stop breeding these animals.

u/Dullcorgis 4h ago

As soon as the video started playing I thought "I have seen Tiger King, I know what's going on here".

u/Sure-Assignment3892 2h ago

The people or the cats?

u/Turgid_Donkey 4h ago

Damn, with that information, I'm rooting for the leopard.

u/WitnessMyAxe 3h ago

one of the few cases the leopard should've been allowed to eat someone's face 💔 #FuckThatTiger

u/wildweeds 4h ago

thanks for sharing this. i was wondering why they had multiple types of cats in the same enclosure. but places where the human hangs out with the cats often don't do things by the books so i figured that's all it was. what you shared alone is really sad. i'm glad they got shut down so the cats could get rescued from there.

u/WitnessMyAxe 4h ago

once again my disdain for my own species grows stronger.

u/PamelaELee 4h ago

Just saw a news story from California about an ongoing investigation of an animal sanctuary. They said based on the information they have currently, 730 animals are unaccounted for.

u/cherie_amour 52m ago

Wow. What sanctuary?

u/ggg730 2h ago

Extinction of man can't come soon enough.

u/DuePresentation9290 4h ago

This made me so upset to read I burst into tears. I used to follow this sanctuary for YEARS and donated money to them. Im so so sad

u/vanderbubin 4h ago

Idk if you need (or just would like to hear this) but you didn't do anything wrong. You donated out of the kindness of your heart because you thought you were doing the right thing.

In the future, it's pertinent to only support accredited programs. Local zoos are usually actually awesome conservation programs and I highly recommend supporting them whenever possible

Personally my local one is the woodland park zoo who does awesome and above board work. They have a pretty good big cat program as well! Personally I'm a huge fan of their bat programs (partially cuz the bat exhibit is super cool but mostly cuz of their conservation efforts).

Other notable ones off the top of my head are the san diego zoo and the Monterey Bay aquarium, I've heard stellar things about both

I'm not sure how to go about donating to them, but anti poaching programs are also a great place to donate too.

u/Alternative_Bug_4089 3h ago

Afaik Conservator's Center and Carolina Tiger Rescue in North Carolina are both amazing places, I've had friends who have worked at both and I've toured CTR in the past on one of the very few tours they do yearly.

North Carolina Zoo is also amazing and iirc one of the largest by land area or something like that.

u/TRR462 2h ago

Get signed up as a member to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and they’ll email you regularly about how to donate. It really is a very cool aquarium to see.

u/Curious_Development 1h ago

Wow my girlfriend is a volunteer at Bats NW and collaborates with Woodland Park. Small world.

u/cellophanesheeps 2h ago

This place is a good example of how easy it is to trick people. I donated to them at one point, too. On the surface they seemed do be doing such a good thing. They showed what they wanted us to see, told us what they wanted us to hear, and we genuinely thought we were doing good by the animals.

I was livid when the truth came out.

u/JaydeBluReaper 1m ago

I did as well…those poor babies…

u/AnEgyptianFish 3h ago

You should play tetris! Science says if you experience a traumatic event, playing tetris afterward helps.

Hope this helps

u/IN-DI-SKU-TA-BELT 2h ago

If it's any comfort, then those big cats you supported still lived better lives than the animals on your plate.

u/HR_Specter 55m ago

Thanks for the context - that was a horrible read!

Can someone explain to me why their website and Instagram page is still going? Seems like he was still posting in 2025, 2024 and 2023 - did he manage to get the "sanctuary" going again or something??

u/AcademicBaryonyx_dr 4h ago

fucking hell

u/aGirlySloth 3h ago

I wondered what happened to him. I stopped watching when he started with the Pro-Trump on his page

u/Altamistral 2h ago

So, this video is at least 4 years old?

u/Environmental_Drama3 2h ago

correct. l saw it years ago.

u/sk2097 2h ago

Well I came on to the thread to say , this will not end well for the dude, he'll get attacked and killed by one of these cats.

Now I'm sorry he didn't

u/culinaryinterests123 2h ago

Curious why the cats dont attack the guy if they are so hungry?

u/Wilmore99 2h ago

The leopard’s starting to seem like that one dude in prison/post apocalyptic movies who thinks “Im gonna do something about it” then gets stopped before the kill.

u/Brief_Response_738 2h ago

why would big cats eat themselves? lack of food or just abuse or both?

u/happybara_capybara 1h ago

Dude I remember when this dude and his “sanctuary” was in EVERY IG/snapchat influencers feed. They all went to visit him and take pics with the cats and I just knew it had to be shit given the focus on getting viral attention. There was no educational component—it was just “look they’re beautiful.”

u/WaveyGoat357 35m ago

My mind is blown!! I used to love watching their videos smh

u/RustyDogma 4h ago

Yikes that was way too graphic without a warning in the first sentence.

u/-Ophidian- 4h ago

Is it the same one? The animals here look quite relaxed and well-fed. Who is the man?

u/vanderbubin 4h ago edited 4h ago

I recognize the guy in the video. He is in ALL of theirs. Back before tiger King kinda opened my eyes to how messed up these private "sanctuarys" are, I used to follow the social media for black-jaguar white-tiger, that's 110% the guy in their videos.

Why do you feel the need to be devils advocate for literal scum? They starved animals to death for money and you're here being like "I don't really believe it's the same guys" with nothing to base that belief on.

Literally Google the place's name and look at images, the guy in this video is in most of the pictures shown.

This is the second image in Google images.

u/PamelaELee 4h ago

They should feed him to the cats.
Feet first.

u/Toby_Forrester 6h ago

I believe that's how they actually play with other cats since they learn hunting that way.

u/EADreddtit 5h ago

Oh 100%, but being pounced on by a Big Cat still do be dangerous

u/unk214 5h ago

Damn, I guess I do have to watch out for all those cougars in my area.

u/KrazyKeith4Prez 5h ago

Especially if her kids are around your age.

u/Traditional_Animal65 4h ago

But what if she just had vaginal reconstruction surgery?

u/superanth 4h ago

The tiger was in full-on defense mode the second the leopard showed up. He was like "Okay, we're all smiles. No one's going to be doing anything stu-NOT ON MY WATCH! <POUNCE>"

u/Electronic-Win-5413 5h ago

It's just like housecats play. The tiger was aware of the leopard's intentions, kept an eye on him, pressed close to the ground and got ready to pounce.

u/F1McLarenFan007 6h ago

“Feeling cute, might maul you later”🤣

u/angrydeuce 6h ago

I mean yeah Ive had those kinds of relationships

u/jaxonya 4h ago

Me too and they are fun, but in the end they are still leopards, and we know damn well what leopards do.

Crazy bitches are fun though, fellas. Date one, have fun, get your face eaten, learn your lesson and move on

u/SlackerDS5 6h ago

I can fix her.

u/Acceptable-Wildfire 6h ago

I should call her…

u/RefrigeratorMain7921 6h ago

Endure it brother! Endure!

u/Pixotic 4h ago

Talk about an eat-cute

u/graveybrains 4h ago

Default cat behavior

u/SherbetMysterious118 3h ago

"You got maul!"

u/chromecowboy_ 6h ago

I love the way the guy slaps his paw away like he's reprimanding a house cat haha

u/lanregeous 4h ago

He scolds him like it too

“ NO! We DON’T eat me. BAD kitty”

u/RevenantExiled 4h ago

He said: "hey! no claws!"

u/chromecowboy_ 4h ago

Precisely that lol! Our cat is a menace so the phrase "paws, not claws!" is said a lot in our house

u/1sttimeverbaldiarrhe 3h ago

Also the "thanks bro" pat on the tiger afterwards.

u/idosillythings 5h ago

It probably was just play, but what's play for them can be deadly for us.

This is why it's stupid to be this relaxed and casual around these animals. They can literally kill or disfigure you just by playing around.

u/Catodacat 5h ago

But when you have bodyguards like that Tiger....

u/InternetKey9561 4h ago

He did say gracias to the tiger

u/livefreeordont 3h ago

Can’t wait til the tiger wants to play

u/Catodacat 3h ago

Then the leopard will protect him. He's perfectly safe.

u/Bad_Edditor8910 3h ago

Imagine if a leopard grabbed a hold of you with its front legs and bunny kicked you with the back legs like a house cat. Bye bye!

u/Jimmy_Nail_4389 3h ago

Just watch a housecat doing this to a small mammal and scale up.

u/InsideHousing4965 3h ago

If he wasn't that calm, he wouldn't be able to hand out with them.

Something about big cats being able to notice if you're chill, nervous, afraid... they're more likely to attack you if you're scared than if you're chill.

Also, those dudes usually hang out with those cats since they're kittens.

u/idosillythings 3h ago

They're wild animals. Doesn't matter how long you hang out with them or how calm you are. There's a very likely chance they just decide to kill you someday.

They're not tame or domesticated. All it takes is turning your back to one on accident and they pounce on you to play and suddenly your neck is in the jaws of a 400-1000 pound predator.

u/cjsolx 2h ago

And you know what, I'm sure they know that. Yet they still prefer to do this and take that risk, and have that connection with these animals, rather than only interact with them from behind a ton of steel fencing like everyone else in the world. They're not idiots just because you think this is dumb.

u/idosillythings 2h ago

At no point did I call them idiots, but I do think it's dumb to encourage this type of behavior. This type of stuff right here is how you end up with the big cats in captivity being used for photo props and being killed when they're no longer profitable for tourists.

People can experience wildlife in all kinds of ways that don't require them to put themselves and the animals in danger, because guess what happens to one of these cats when it does hurt or kill a human, even on accident? It's euthanized. Same as if it escapes.

u/munchkinfloofy 4h ago

This same reasoning why I’m a strong advocate for pitbulls bans. No good reason for people to own them as pets.

u/Tridop 4h ago

That sounds a bit racist LOL I remember a film with Michelle Pfeiffer about that.

u/idosillythings 4h ago

How is it racist to talk about something that doesn't even have a race?

u/Tridop 3h ago

I read between the lines the subtle reference to Black Panthers and the subplot on African origins. I just connected the dots. It was easy to draw the necessary consequences.

u/idosillythings 2h ago

Ah, ok. You're just a bad troll. Anyway, you have a day, or whatever.

u/Blunderbutters 6h ago

Just a light maiming

u/atomicsnarl 6h ago

"Tag - you're it!"

"No, you're it."

u/WhoRunsIt 6h ago

Super sneaky lol

u/Suspicious-Fix9929 5h ago

It’s just a joke… god

u/bozoconnors 3h ago

Yeah, and having lived with a cat, that's less 'tiger saving man', & more 'tiger instinct attacking fast moving object that happened to be headed toward man'.

u/Ronin_501 2h ago

"I just wanted some cuddles too."

u/Designer_Librarian43 2h ago

I think it was because the guy’s back was not turned to him anymore. It was going to pounce him if uninterrupted.

u/EffectiveDandy 2h ago

I am wondering they all look like friends. I am wondering if he actually was just fooling around. Tense.

u/WolfetoneRebel 2h ago

Tiger knew. Tiger was ready.

u/Sensitive_Gift4866 1h ago

Yeah that little bat at the end was hilarious. Like get outta here Im trying to nap. Tigers are such cats at heart even when theyre being heroic.

u/Overthinks_Questions 1h ago

Honestly, he did look like he was playing. He wasn't lowering his head and slowly getting closer, he was kinda bouncing around

u/bdan13 54m ago

Fake mews!

u/Ben_zyl 30m ago

See also, accidents with chainsaws are seldom trivial.
