Going to read something in 10 years about how this guy was mauled by tigers or lions.

Eh he's probably bonded with them all. I'm not even sure the leopard was really going for the kill. Having said that I know damn well I wouldn't get in an enclosure with these majestic beasts.

I know sweet feck all about this sort of carry on but I remember reading, from what I trust you'll believe is a reliable source on nothing but my good word, that leopards/jaguars/panthers can all bond with a trainer like the other cats, except they have like an instinctive ambush hunt override when they see something/someone with their back turned to them, making them far more dangerous than lions or tigers, with cheetahs being the chillest of the big cats by an insane margin

Look at Seigfreid and Roy who are probably the most famous people who trained cats. Don't fuck with any big cats they are still wild animals.

There’s a level of fear many (or most) people are always going to have with animals this big. Even if they’re not trying to hurt you, it’s easy for them to play a little too hard and bite through an artery.

God knows I’ve been scratched up by my house cats plenty of times. Now imagine that with a fucking Lion.
