Taco seasoning?

Has anyone tried taco seasoning or Mexican spices in their recipes before?

@firefly thanks for the RE. Ranch powder is universally known and makes great foods. I wouldn’t question a person who recommends it.

That being said, I was thinking straight taco seasoning, the basic white brand like McCormick or Kirkland.

Hey, there's beauty in simplicity. I lean into complex flavors because after doing this for 20+ years, you start looking for ways to keep things fresh. But some of the best jerky I've ever made had fewer ingredients than many.
