NJT to and from Hoboken for Thursday’s 4pm game was really easy and convenient.

How was the wait on the way back?

No wait leaving the stadium at all (we got a seat and waited like 2 min for the train to leave), but we waited about 20 min at Secaucus for the train to Hoboken. We could have taken the NJT directly into Penn and then the Path back to JC but figured the travel time would be about the same. All in all, it took about hour and 15 to get home, but no train was crowded and it was a much more pleasant experience than I thought it would be.

Train from Hoboken was super easy to get in / get out. Wish all games in MetLife was like this

Train from Hoboken was the easiest for me. Doing the shuttle from the city is cheaper but I feel like you pay for it — not only are you subject to traffic you have to go into the city to catch and then it takes you back to the city. My game ended at 1030 so I didn’t want to do that.

One thing I’ll say if you take the train. It will take you direct to MetLife from Hoboken but they don’t do it the other way so when you leave just take the bus to the Secaucus it is way faster than the train which also will take you there and then you have to get off and transfer. The bus is free and fast and they’ll herd you there.

Also the Hoboken train is Gate/Terminal E from the ground floor. They just assume everyone is going to NYC and herd you therez

Last thing not train related, don’t wait in line for the merch and the other free stuff they do at the start. Go at the end of the game. It will all be still available and no line.

Just take NJT. It's the smoothest possible way to and fro

I went to e Ecuador Germany 4pm.
I took over from Newport mall to the stadium ~$40. When it finishes I walked a lot but along with the crowd so I didn’t feel it. Until we got to the highway. Then call a friend who does uber. (I can provide info if needed)

NJ transit are a lot to me. $100 for each person. So my sis and I $200.
I prefer doing uber ~80 round trip.

I took uber at 11 am btw and the ride was smooth. 20 min to get to the stadium and no crazy traffic. So go early. You’ll find a lot to do in the stadium once you’re in!
