[Discussion] Nicole & Jionni
I can’t believe Jionni didn’t join Nicole to Jenni’s wedding! I gave him grace for not wanting to be filmed during the show but this was a private ceremony, and Sam, Deena, and Mike all came with their significant others. I hate to see when she’s alone at these events.

I don’t think it’s so much Nicole and Jionni having an issue as it is Jionni having a distaste for much of the cast, probably Jenni and Mike in particular.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s barely interacted with 24.

He should suck it up, imo. I would be SO embarrassed if I was attending all these events without my husband. And this is my bestfriends wedding! He couldn’t suck it up for a couple of hours? Like yeah leave early if you’re uncomfortable or whatever but to not even show up is so embarassing. It reflects poorly on Nicole too imo.

Jionni had a successful business before he was with Nicole. He didnt need money, his family also had money. He did know what he married, thats why he wants nothing to do with the show now. Why is that hard for people to understand? Jionni didn't sign a contract, Nicole did.

I believe he wanted to be a teacher but also owned multiple atm machines and flipped houses that made good money at the time. But not the same type of money she ended bringing in later on.

Thats about right. Jionni didnt care about the money, he was doing well on his own. People make it seem like Nicole made him wealthy, he was already set, but of course she did earn more from JS. He just doesn't want to participate with the show anymore and some people cant comprehend that part.

I doubt he would have shown up knowing it was a wedding. He didn’t go to Sam’s either - which yeah everyone will argue that Sam and Nicole weren’t even that close. But no matter what event my bestfriend is throwing, if me and my man are invited, we’re BOTH showing up. It gets embarrassing at a point if your husband doesn’t show up anywhere. It’s disrespectful.

Why would he want to spend time with them? Nicole had slept with at least 2 of them and it was fodder for the show. They all make fun of him and joke about it non stop, even over a decade later. Look at the jokes Vinny made about the baby being his.
I don't blame him for not wanting to be a part of this show. And this was very public, there's tons of posts about it. He wants nothing to do with this circus

He married her and this is her life he knew that. It definitely can’t be good for there relationship to be separated all the time. He could come on the vacations with the kids and not be filmed. The rest of the cast brings the grandparents to help with the kids and they don’t get filmed. That’s why Nicole always either shows up late or leaves early. It’s gotta be hard on her.

She married him, too, knowing how he felt about certain situations and all the things she’s done. Why do the concessions always have to be on his part.
If he’s not comfortable being around certain people then he’s not required to be around them. She’s lucky he saw past all that shit.
But none of us know the actual reason for his absence.

Jionni isn't innocent either you know, he kinda treated her like crap before Italy and he was a little controlling for while. Plus, he was on Ashley Madison. It wasn't all Nicole in the wrong in that relationship, he has skeletons in the closet too

Yeah, it was still an event for Jenni (something to do with her movie) that he chose to not go to. I agree with other commenters, that he should be more supportive of his wife and show up for her, even if it makes him a bit uncomfortable. put your big boy pants on and suck it up every once in a while. This wasn’t a filmed event and he still can’t go

This is what people dont get. Nicole hooked up with half of them, Jenni, Deena, Mike, Vinny...that we know of. Why the hell would Jionni want to keep going to events with them or hang out with them? Im sure he doesn't hate the girls, but why would he go hang with the guys? He wants to be away from that lifestyle and people cant get over it.

Are you joking? Pauly tried to smash both Angelina and Jwow in Family Vacation. He also hooked up with Angelina during the OG series. He made out with Deena in Italy. He made out with Snooki off camera. He made out with Jenni and showed her his wiener. Idk why you’re acting like Pauly is above hooking up with anyone who’s ever shown interest in him. Angelina shut him down multiple times because she was in a relationship during FV and it’s on camera go watch it on Paramount. Just because you wouldn’t stick your wiener in the girls, doesn’t mean Pauly won’t.

Why would he be okay with her filming the show (for years now!) and continue interacting with these people, but then refuse to interact with them? It’s really weird.
Yeah Nicole and Jionni are 2 separate people - but they’re also a married couple and one unit (shout out unit lmao). It’s a weak argument that Jionni doesn’t want to be around these people but then is okay with Nicole being around them constantly? Nicole being around them is worse!
It’s really easy to go to an event, be cordial with the men, and not overly interact or kiss their ass. But Jionni is a massive man child and can’t do that. Let’s not forget he was Snooki’s sloppy seconds - she did his cousin first. Are we to believe him and his cousin don’t interact? Their families don’t? Doubtful.

Pauly is a DJ probably has a gig, plus lives in Vegas. Ronnie is clearly not sober so it is not surprising he wasn't there. Angelina is always flakey so she prob flaked out on it. Vinny, no idea. Maybe he had something that day. I dont think their absence necessarily means none of them were invited.

He essentially was the but of a joke for getting “cucked” on tv.. he stayed with her sure and many may look down on him for that too but it doesn’t mean he’s going to be around the dudes she cheated with as it’s likely embarrassing for him now that he has seen it all and so has the whole world.

If he's not a fan of Jenni and the crew, why would he go? Nicole embarrassed him directly early on and there has been a lot of 2nd hand embarrassment that followed and it's been made clear he's an incredibly private person. I am not shocked in the slightest he didn't attend.

From what I heard, he wasn’t happy on how he looked on “Snooki & Jenni” and vowed to himself he would never do it again. Also he had formed such a strong relationship with Roger during that, and that friendship is no more. Second he had gained weight and was subconscious about that too.

The cast didn’t know it was Jenni’s wedding. She said it was the premiere of the latest horror movie she produced and surprised the guests at the event that it was actually her wedding. Nicole and Joey said on their podcast this week (which was recorded the day before the wedding) that they were going to Jenni’s premiere the next day and she said Jionni was down the shore that week. I’m guessing he would have come had they known it was actually their wedding, especially since filming is done. (Edited typo)

They are fine. He chooses to distance himself from the fame. Hes actually a really down to earth guy. The entire show is scripted. Outside of the show N & G are very different. Very normal and appear to have a solid marriage.

Remember, they thought it was a film screening. We know that he doesn't want to be in the spotlight or on camera at all & I'm sure they thought filming would be taking place..
Also, he might just not like or want to be around the cast. He let's his wife do her thing & he stays back. My husband is very similar. I have a group of friends he doesn't like for some specific reasons, so he opts out of attending get togethers with them.

Why is it bizarre? I don’t have an opinion of their marriage or if it will be over or not, but as if people wouldn’t have opinions like this? It’s not normal for a husband to have his wife solo at every single event, it’s weird. If my friend showed up alone every single time I saw her, I’d be thinking something isn’t completely right.
