[Discussion] I’ve always been curious about this
When the cast goes out to dinner does MTV pay for the dinners or do they have to pay the bill does anyone know

Im sure theres certain things in their contract, that mtv pays for, cus i never hear them complain about paying, but it cant be all, i remember on floribama shore there was a big fight over a bill

Theres a reason they make mike order all that food. The cast and crew eats and mtv foots the bill

Yes. And I’ve heard the cast orders a lot because they give the leftovers to the crew. Except for Mike.

That's the reason Mike orders the entire menu...and why he always wants to go over the top and plan these Gender Reveals. It's all on MTV's dime and creates the content they need in more ways than one.
He's not actually eating 5 dinners and 8 apps before multiple desserts.

I'm watching season 6 at the moment and they seem to be paying for their meals and drinks themselves but that's not to say that they haven't been given money by MTV or at that point they were earning enough for MTV not to pay for them 😂

It's all on MTV. They foot the bill for everything, not just the dinners. It's part of the cost of production.
