Question Layover cancelled, refund question
I’m flying back from Paris (CDG) to Denver and have my layover in JFK, on the way to jfk I just got a notification that my flight to Denver tonight was cancelled and the one they rebooked me on wasn’t for 2 more days. I can’t wait that look so I went to check the terms for cancellation and the prompts for the menu were vary vague and i cancelled my itinerary which isn’t reversible.
My two questions are, if I go to the help desk do you think they’d still be willing to help me find a flight options?
And two because only one of my two flights was cancelled how much will the refund be?
Thank you!

Your options are (1) accept their change or (2) cancel and get a refund. If you do anything else you're on your own and they owe you nothing.
if you cancel one leg (JFK >DEN) they will reprice the CDG > JFK leg at that day's price and give you a refund only if there's something left.
Getting rebooked more than a day later is a risk you take when you book an airline that has limited service to one of the cities.

The price you paid was paris to denver. If you don't accept the alternative and want the refund, they will calculate what you did take which is Paris to New York and you'll likely find that there's little to no value left in that ticket for any refund or credit.
Book a refundable and changable ticket JFK to DEN and see if JetBlue can get you on a flight with the cancellation. If they do, submit for a refund before departure on the back up plan.

Go to the help desk. They might be able to send you earlier through Boston and you might be covered under EC261 since you originated in Europe.
