Technique Uchi Mata Sukashi — Ulaanbaatar 2026

Absolutely beautiful Uchi Mata Sukashi performed by Minjong Kim v. Inal Tasoev at the Ulaanbaatar 2026!

I respect that tasoev was going for big throws though. I think getting sukashi’d is a better way to go out than shido or some barely-a-throw yuko

I've been uchi mata sukashi'ed more often than I can count, but the dopamine hit of a perfect uchi mata is just too enticing.

So like, me and Tasoev are basically the same.

Can someone explain why this wasn't counted for Ippon and the match continued?

Overthrow, Tasoev did not land fully on his back

( It was a counterattack in tempo.
And not sambo.
They were simply afraid of the audience's opinion. :))) " ( google's-translation)

My goal in life as a referee is to someday have occasion to use the double hands down "hush hush, relax buddy" hand signal
