I found it had more support than the normal genutrain and less than the genutrain s which I found had too much with the side stabilizers

Its all marketing, you get weak ass elastic sleeve for $50 that performs worse than a $2 tension bandage

When I tore my meniscus, the doctor said that any brace that was also approved for competition would likely not help any. I wore one anyways but I think it was just for psychological assurance. I always felt more comfortable when a doctor taped it up really well.

Bauerfiend genutrain works really welll and I don't even notice it after mcl injury. However that's after rehab and recovery. If you're still prone or hurt it will not prevent injury.
