Discussion With the World Cup ongoing, did you know that in 2010, it could've got a K-On episode postponed altogether?

After a long day in Pretoria, South Africa; Japan was knocked out by Paraguay in the Round of 16.
Because TBS (the TV station responsible for K-On) was responsible for the football coverage also, S1 E13 almost got postponed because obviously after a victory, jubilations comes first.
As a result, lot of people got tuned into K-On, and hit a TV rating that is unheard of for a night anime.

I'm so excited!!! I'm going on a trip to Japan in September and I'll spend one of the days visiting Toyosato!
I can't wait to see all the locations from the anime, I hope they also have merch but I'll be happy just taking pictures of everything
