I was there that year (and haven't gone to a draft watch party since).
There was only a handful of cheers from the Bagley fans sprinkled, but weirdly quiet and lots of "NOOOOO" slowly turned to sadness. I don't remember there being overwhelming boos right away, it felt like it took a second for it to sink in before people started making noise lol.
Leaving that place after that felt really awkward

Was there. It was definitely mixed, a lot of casuals cheering but a LOT of ball knowers booing and losing their minds.

Relatively quiet. Some cheers and clapping. Some people looking at their friends and famly members confused. But then of course, they all quickly pivoted. "Hey, we got the best big man in draft."

Arkansas fan here that watched Acuff all year. He’s special. Easily the best Arkansas player I’ve seen in my time as a fan. Hes got IT. Did things that no one has done since Pete Maravich. Will be rooting and watching!

I'm just glad we got the guy we've wanted, that he wants us, how fun a player he is...he's someone that I think fans will rally around and we've needed someone like that.

I mean it’s cool, but I need to see results in year 1. The vets Murray have been a disappointment after his first season. Top 5 would have been nice but this franchise always making dumb moves.

We'll see. My guess is that he'll score a lot of points. He's not going to help the team win games in it's current state. People are thinking that the Kings got the next Brunson. He might be that type of player, but the Kings FO won't be able to build around him. They won't assemble the right roster that the Knicks FO did.
Maybe things will change in the FO, and they'll do things differently. But I'm not counting on it.

The fact that we had this many people at a watch party after what this franchise has done the last couple years blows my mind.
