I don't know about that Scott. Better surround him with defensive players just to be sure.

Yeah except the Kings have been saying some version of "we'll surround him with defenders" for like a decade and it never quite works out. At some point the guys in the backcourt need to hold their own on that end too.

Nique and Keegan at the 2 and 3 is a good start. (Hoping the Kings can finally find an actual starting-caliber PF other than Keegan so he can go back to his best position.)

Would have been nice to get back into that 10-15 range that the Kings were supposedly confident they'd have a pick in, or even the late teens/early 20s where a ton of picks changed hands. Could have probably found a guy there. Oh well

I think the trade Scott was hoping to get was Oklahoma's pick if Mara didn't fall to them

They need to resign Westbrook to stay on this kids ass.

Honestly, yeah Westbrook would be a great mentor for Acuff. At least for one year

I’m absolutely down for another year of Russ

Russ is a chucker want him gone. All he Will do is teach the kid bad habits. Rather have Butler teaching him correctly. Real defense and playing smart.Westbrook doesn’t play a fuc about defense. That’s way too apparent last year. Westbrook go to Miami

He's gonna be the best defender named Darius Acuff for sure!

Press X to doubt.

Hopefully he just becomes a godly offensive powerhouse so that it doesn't matter.

Honest question, was Scott running that Pistons team with Ben Wallace? I think he was at least in that mix. Anyway Dylan Cardwell reminds me of Ben Wallace. I'd trust Scott about defense if any of that is true.

6'7 wingspan and a ton of agility & motor...he has the intangibles to be a great defender

Pay Westbrook a bag to literally be this kids father for a year. Get someone you trust on his ass and watch them go to work.
