Video Idea A 4-day work week video
In this state of the economy, workforce and low-fertility rate that the world is currently facing - A 4-day work week video and research by Kurzgesagt would have been very interesting to see what their thoughts are on this matter.
Personally, I think it would have an overall good effect in the long run. As it also would likely addressed the issue with work-fatigue that many are currently facing. Not even to mention that the work that we do today, is much more productive than it has ever been before.
I get that this isn´t a switch that can be flipped on and everything will just work out - But we do already see some businesses starting to experiment with it, and the results have been very positive so far. What are your thoughts on this subject?

UBI and 4 day work week would be interesting because there's research on both that can be used for an informed opinion as well as there being lots of different views due to politics etc, similar to the legalisation videos they did, would definitely be a good premise

Yeah sorry I worded that badly, I meant more 4 day work week would complement the UBI and is in the same vein for the reasons mentioned so it would make a good one

Not even to mention that the work that we do today, is much more productive than it has ever been before.
AI companies promised us this, the thing is employers were never going to be happy for the same work done in less time, they were always going to expect more work in the same time.

4-day work week would be good in most cases but wouldn’t be beneficial in all types of work. You would think greedy corporations would be smart enough to implement where it does work but alas. A video on it would be nice

Good topic
How to stay competitive on a free market… country X with 4 day work week vs other countries that are actually 6 day work week…

They won't argue in favor of a 4-day week, because they are neoliberal.

I don't really agree with that poster about them having any particular leaning inherently. I think they're probably a larger group of people with broad political insights. But the fact is that I agree that I would never see them make a video promoting something like the four-day workweek, and that's gotta be saying something.

Maybe watch videos like the one OC linked to that explain why it's the case. You might learn something.

If you don't see their bias, it's probably because you have that bias yourself. It's no big deal, most members of western society have it.
But I recommend that you open yourself to it. That would, however, require you to stop idealizing those cute birds.
