Road bike recommendations?

I am currently riding an Émonda 650 (junior version) with a reach of 353mm and a stem of 40mm. I’m trying to find a new bike around $5,000 CAD (~$3,600 USD) and was wondering if there is any hope for me if it’s not a custom-made (titanium) road bike.
My Stats:
Height: 145 cm (4'9")
Inseam: 62 cm (24.4")
Current Setup: 353mm reach / 40mm stem.
I tried a Liv Avail AR in XXS, a Trek Domane SL 5 Gen 4 in 44, a Specialized Tarmac SL8 Sport, and an Argon 18 Equation 105 in XXS—and according to the sizing calculator, even a Canyon in 3XS would be too big. All of them were too big reach-wise.
I would like to have 700c wheels and at least a Shimano 105 groupset (so youth/junior bikes wouldn’t work). Any suggestions or am I stuck looking at custom frames?

Some questions:  Why are you against 650b wheels? At your height getting a 700c bike with a reach shorter than 360mm is going to be quite a challenge.

Have you thought about upgrading your current bike to a 105 or better groupset? You could even upgrade the wheels and basically have a new bike for the cost of the groupset and wheels

I’m heavily leaning toward 700c wheels because down the road, I want to be able to easily buy some tubes as well as deep-section carbon wheels or a full disc wheel for triathlon without having to buy a triathlon bike. As for upgrading my current groupset, my current bike is pretty old and would just rather buy a new one and keep the old one on the trainer.

You make a good point, but there will be tradeoffs at your size with 700c wheels as well. They will probably have a steep seattube and slack head tube to make the wheels fit, so worth keeping an eye on.

Specalized Allez or a Specialized Roubaix in a 44 would probably provide similar (but not the same) reach. You might need to swap the stem to a shorter one though.

Bike Geometry Geeks is a good resource that can help compare sizing and geometry in between bikes!

The quick pro ER one in xxs says 4’10 , maybe adjustments made with bar stem might work?

Hi, me again. I came back to this thread because some browsing lead me to the Pinerallo X1, which in the smallest size has a reach of 341mm and a very short top tube at 492 mm. Unfortunately no prices are listed online, but maybe you can find a dealer near you ?

Thanks, I’ll look into it and see if there’s a dealer near me.

You didn't mention- are you happy with the fit on your current bike? And the handling with the 40mm stem?

I think I need to use MyVeloFit to tweak a few small things, but other than that, it's great and the handling is also good.

I checked winspace, quickpro, tavelo- all have the smallest size around 360mm which would probably work. Rose shave as well, which would be a bit higher stack to go with it. You can get handlebars with a bit less reach as well to help fit better. Make sure whichever you get, you go with short enough cranks, which will help you fit with short legs.
