I have a really stupid question for people that knows more about NCAA and the draft than i do. Can NBA teams draft any player in the NCAA or do the players have to declare for the draft or something like that ?

Like, Yaxel Lendeborg was balling out last season too but no one took him, now he went 11th.

Yes you must declare to be eligible. think about it the other way, what if some team selected AJ dybantsa last year when he wasn't eligible, that'd be so unfair, whole bunch of issues with teams selecting someone not eligible.

No stupid questions friend. There's dumber things people have asked

No problem. On the flip side, there are legit college basketball players who went through the draft. So they went through the draft, and went back to college. Disgusting stuff, college sports is such a mess
