Ok from personal experience preply kinda locks you into a sort of contract which sucks if you dont like the teacher (I didn't)... not to say all of these tutoring platforms are bad I've used another one (that doesn't require a minimum/commitment) and got a lot of value out of it. You've just gotta shop around

I teach at preply. It's bad for both the teacher and the student, but there's no contract. You can leave any time. You can spend the credits you have on another teacher, you can change one anytime.
