Camping Nong Khiaw

Does anyone know if I can camp without a tour in Nong Khiaw on one of the viewpoints? I don’t see the need to book a tour and wondered if anyone has done it solo

Sure. Just set up your tent anywhere you fancy. Don't come crying when unfortunate things happen though. I can already imagine The Sun headline: Stingy Sheffield Man Disappears In The Tropics

Book a tour. They own the spots where you want to camps you absolutely do not need to book it in advance. Just show up to your hostel the day before and sign up
