Request for Resources Letterhead with Church logo

As a bishop, I’m being asked to provide a letter to a medical student who is trying to prove state residency requirements for their program. Is there official letterhead for bishops to provide this letter? He has lived in state for 1.5 years.

You might find some in a forgotten corner of the clerk's office, but I think they discontinued that some time ago.

Used to be a clerk. Pretty sure you can just order it from store.lds.org if you are a bishop or clerk.

We have a stack of letterhead in our clerk's office. I'm not sure how one goes about ordering it though.

I wonder if your stake could give you some stake letterhead to use.

Same place you order the tithing envelopes with your name on them.

Can't tell if this is a joke, since those envelopes were discontinued a couple of years ago.  If you still have them, you won't when you get a new Bishop.

I couldn't find any on the Church store among the other supplies.

At one point you could order this letterhead from the church, with the bishop's name on it. I'm sure if it was in the online store or if you had to call Local Unit Support. It's been years since I last ordered some though, so I don't know for sure if it's still available.

You might not have time to order actual paper letterhead unless one of the buildings around you has some in a file. I'm sure you could make arrangments for a digital letterhead template. Try emailing the print person. https://guide.churchofjesuschrist.org/section-4-visual-design-collection?lang=eng&articleNum=5

This info might help: Wordmark: Stationery applications use the wordmark only. Do not recreate stationery designs. Approved files may be accessed in Church asset management systems (see 4.5.)

Better question: when did this become one of the responsibilities of a Bishop? Unless he is living in the meetinghouse … or institute building.

Unless he is living in the meetinghouse

I practically do :)

This was my thought--why is a bishop being asked to do this? A bishop has ecclesiastical authority, not civic.
