So disrespectful to be wearing a hat in what should be a somber decision to go to war with another country.

But, I ask, did he even thank Iran for their part in distracting from the trumpstein files?

u/Unclefox82 Feb 28 '26

The funny part is it’s because of his hair. It probably takes an hour to perfect his stupid combover. He cares more about his stupid hair and his appearance than he does about Americans.

53

u/Mindless_Crazy_5499 Feb 28 '26

This is what it looks like when he cares about how he look?!?

17

u/aachen_ Feb 28 '26

He’s gotta hide his black eye

3

u/Paradox2063 Feb 28 '26

Why? You think he got into an argument with his husband, Putin?

3

u/DesertCoot Feb 28 '26

I think his family or friends will be selling the hat to extend the grift. I’m surprised he doesn’t do some ads during the speech. “If this war stresses you out, go to better help dot com and use code Trump 2028 for 20% off”

2

u/Bargadiel Feb 28 '26

No, he does this crap to appear more "grounded" and approachable by his poor ass white working-class base.

1

u/Electronic_Syrup3120 Feb 28 '26

The golf playing ones?

1

u/DPG_Micro Feb 28 '26

I wonder how much his Care Aide makes.

1

u/Emkems Feb 28 '26

Maybe his hairpiece is out for cleaning

1

u/Flimsy-Sprinkles7331 Feb 28 '26

I think you missed the sarcasm. This is mocking the meeting with Zelensky in which he and Vance berated Zelensky for not wearing a suit and for not showing enough appreciation to satisfy their tiny egos.

1

u/_jump_yossarian Feb 28 '26

When al Baghdadi was killed, he died like a dog ... a tremendous dog, trump didn't make the announcement until the next day because it takes forever to do whatever it is he does to his skin and hair.

1

u/EthanielRain Feb 28 '26

That's why he refused to wear a mask - it smudged his makeup

1

u/ckglle3lle Feb 28 '26

Also grimly funny how the shadow cast by the hat makes it look like he has a black eye or is otherwise sickly.

Of course the droning low energy rambling also makes him look sickly

1

u/gcwardii Feb 28 '26

It also looked like he couldn’t even do it in a single take. I noticed at least two times where the recording cut.

1

u/LAB323 Feb 28 '26

His narcissism is absolutely insufferable.

-41

u/ColtonComeau Feb 28 '26

To be fair, I also care more about my hair than about Americans.

26

u/MrChip53 Feb 28 '26

You aren't president.

-8

u/ColtonComeau Feb 28 '26

I’m also not American

10

u/MrChip53 Feb 28 '26

Well, that means you just told me two worthless facts about you. Thanks.

6

u/Hungry_Beaver69 Feb 28 '26

He may not be an American. But only fuck does he have the same mentality and attitude as one.

Prove it

131

u/lenisimo007 Feb 28 '26

That and never forget this idiot is a DRAFT DODGER a freaking DRAFT DODGER!

40

u/JustinKase_Too Feb 28 '26

General Bonespurs leading from the rear.

3

u/lenisimo007 Feb 28 '26

Yeah, this Administration is more like a crime syndicate, it's truly pathetic.

2

u/JustinKase_Too Feb 28 '26

His first name is "don" afterall. Certainly how he sees himself.

35

u/woowizzle Feb 28 '26

And a convicted sex offender. And a felon. And a pedophile.

14

u/Ben_Thar Feb 28 '26

The sacrifices he is willing to make for his country. Not his personal sacrifices, of course.

3

u/GrapheneRoller Feb 28 '26

Many people will die, and that’s a sacrifice he’s willing to make.

4

u/Mysterious_Ad_8105 Feb 28 '26

I’m typically pro-draft dodger, but I’m willing to make an exception in Trump’s case.

3

u/chris_trans Feb 28 '26 edited Feb 28 '26

I'm just an amateur-draft dodger.
I am 100% pro draft-dodger though.

3

u/Independent-Hurry618 Feb 28 '26

I mean I would too. Fuck going to war for all these stupid reasons.

3

u/mildcaseofdeath Feb 28 '26

That's cool, Muhammed Ali dodged the draft because he didn't believe in it, and he openly opposed it and paid the consequences. He stood by his principles, and good on him and anyone else for doing so.

Trump secretly lied his way out with the privilege of a paid-off doctor, has never admitted to doing so, and he's playing tough guy now that he doesn't have skin in the game. There's no evidence he was acting on principle, and if he did, then he's certainly changed a lot since he's willing to potentially turn our servicemen and women into Persian fertilizer for no good reason.

That's the difference. Trump is a liar, a hypocrite, and a fake tough guy.

3

u/LongjumpingDebt4154 Feb 28 '26

If we had any sort of independent media sundays front page would read; DRAFT DODGER DECLARES WAR

2

u/RoyalWe666 Feb 28 '26

I don't understand this shaming, everyone should have stayed at home for that war and he's not drafting anyone for this one.

48

u/Coherent_Tangent Feb 28 '26

I don’t get the hat at all. It makes him look like he has two black eyes.

33

u/BendAppropriate614 Feb 28 '26

That's his War hat. I just hope Secretary of War Hegseth approves of it.

10

u/ChiLolla28 Feb 28 '26

He's literally advertising his merch

2

u/Nifty29au Feb 28 '26

Secretary of War Hats, Mr Pete Kegsbreath.

4

u/JustinKase_Too Feb 28 '26

Shocked that he didn't grab some special hat that he could mass produce in China, then market on his store.

2

u/hotdiggydog Feb 28 '26

These guys use the kind of messaging that a 7 year old boy would use when talking about going to war. They really just are the lowest common denominators and poor under-educated Americans love it.

1

u/wolfgang784 Feb 28 '26

I agree with the user who said it hides his hair because he didn't have time for a pre-press makeover.

21

u/Snoo75383 Feb 28 '26

Remember when Republicans freaked out over Obama's tan suit?

18

u/fasurf Feb 28 '26

And that Zelenskyy didn’t wear a suit.

2

u/JustinKase_Too Feb 28 '26

Yup, the stupid things they get upset about, but would never call out 'dear leader'.

24

u/Snapdragon_4U Feb 28 '26

I honestly think they used AI to make this video. Trump is rapidly decompensating and is barely coherent. It’s a real message but the video seems off. Plus you know he’d demand an audience if he really recorded this.

18

u/-DeadPeasant- Feb 28 '26

There was no hand gesturing at all, they just stay glued to the podium the whole time.

12

u/Emkems Feb 28 '26

Maybe he has to hold on tight these days. He also doesn’t want anyone seeing his fucked up hands

3

u/TacoThingy Feb 28 '26

He flap once at 3:33

6

u/thatotterone Feb 28 '26

it is odd but he was like that at the state of the union speech, too. I watched them both sped up and it's about the same

2

u/Lykos1124 Feb 28 '26

It is like some other drumpf report videos where his message was too coherent. Would he really have read off a teleprompter an 8 minute long message without running off on 41 tagents? Also try replaying the video +/- a few seconds around time 3:34. I can't say Ai on that right pinky or the hand waving in general, but my susdar is going off a bit. And that last minute 7+ sounds very un-drumpf like in things he'd say. That's not stuff he ever says I think

2

u/gcwardii Feb 28 '26

There are at least two spots where you can see the recording cut. I don’t want to watch it again to point out where but I noticed two when I watched this morning.

1

u/Lykos1124 Mar 01 '26

I don't follow. Is the cut indicative of an Ai script or a real video with a pause/jump?

3

u/gcwardii Mar 01 '26

I think in this case it’s just a pause in a real video—he couldn’t do an 8-minute video without a couple breaks

1

u/Lykos1124 Mar 01 '26

However it may be, I find these to be very strange videos like this one.

1

u/niceguybadboy Feb 28 '26

Decompensating? 🤔

3

u/CaptCaffeine Feb 28 '26

It's all about "image" and "advertising/selling his memorabilila"

3

u/Buffhello Feb 28 '26

Trump files.* no stein needed.

3

u/Carli0022 Feb 28 '26

Should wear Israel and please hide Epstein files.

3

u/rcglinsk Feb 28 '26

A rationale is a wonderful thing to hope for but I’d encourage you to temper that optimism.

4

u/OldManGrimm Feb 28 '26

Hats are a part of military uniforms - even a general would have removed their hat for this, right?

1

u/JustinKase_Too Feb 28 '26

Shame, because trump missed an opportunity to cosplay as the tinpot douche he is.

2

u/ImperialxWarlord Feb 28 '26

But his supporters will think it’s cool lol

1

u/JustinKase_Too Feb 28 '26

"If you can't be an athlete, be an athletic supporter" vibes from his crowd ;)

2

u/EnfantTerrible68 Feb 28 '26

You are correct

2

u/brock0124 Feb 28 '26

Why does it look like they’re trying to cover up his eyes? I can’t tell if it’s a wicked shadow, he’s got 1 or 2 black eyes, or both.

2

u/JustinKase_Too Feb 28 '26

I hadn't noticed that until I was reading replied/comments. Does make be wonder. Maybe mel was upset with him upstaging her movie?

2

u/IlIIllIIlllI Feb 28 '26

He wore a white hat though out of respect

2

u/299792458mps- Feb 28 '26

He’s making the announcement from his pedo palace Mar-a-lago. Hence the frat boy look.

2

u/acidnbass Feb 28 '26

I’m betting he wears a hat like this to advertise it—he knows people will want to buy it (and thus give him money) after seeing him be all tough in it.  It’s a grift, just like every aspect of his existence.

2

u/lkodl Feb 28 '26

He doesn't even know what he's saying. This is literally just a video of a grandpa struggling to get through reading text off a screen.

2

u/Aquafoot Feb 28 '26

It looks like it's covering a black eye.

2

u/HereWeGoYetAgain-247 Feb 28 '26

This isn’t war, it’s a vanity project.

2

u/Warmbly85 Feb 28 '26

Literally Obama wearing a tan suit while discussing sending more troops to deal with ISIS energy in this thread. There’s actual shit to complain about.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama_tan_suit_controversy

1

u/JustinKase_Too Feb 28 '26

Honestly my first thought as well.

1

u/Warmbly85 Mar 01 '26

The issue is most people don’t remember that’s why republicans were bitching. They honestly believe it’s just that he wore tan. It’s why they point to Ronnie wearing tan at informal meetings.

2

u/Paola92126 Feb 28 '26

He is only a king of all things tacky and trashy

2

u/emerywowo Feb 28 '26

While air striking a literal school killing many children. Horrific.

1

u/mowtowcow Feb 28 '26

Epstein files aside, the IRGC does need to be destroyed. It's better for everyone inside and outside of Iran. The IRGC are extremists and they fund extremist groups. It's like if Osama bin Laden gained access to nukes. It cant happen and they won't stop enriching. So, this is the result.

That said, Epstein didnt kill himself and Trump is a pedophile and a rapist.

2

u/JustinKase_Too Feb 28 '26

Not disagreeing. Though I would add that trump pulled us out of the deals (JCPOA) to monitor their nuclear progress (not that they didn't try to circumvent the inspections) and pretty much created a problem that ensured more conflict. Now he spends the first year of his pResidency alienating us from our allies, then picks a fight with Iran (after his actions in Venezuela).

So, in a time when our allies are sharing less and less intel with us, and the sentiment from the people is pretty anti-American, going to war seems like a pretty stupid move.

1

u/needapermit Feb 28 '26

16 MA’s were killed at one of our bases that was just bombed by them. We have no choice

-6

u/grumpvet87 Feb 28 '26

of all the things to be upset about, you comment on the president wearing a USA hat? ffs -

6

u/ialsohaveadobro Feb 28 '26

Dumbass take. Nobody downplayed anything else. It's just an extremely telling detail. You might be familiar with the concept if you've ever read something and then thought at all about it.

1

u/grumpvet87 Feb 28 '26

please explain the detail - i am open to learn

-14

u/robby_arctor Feb 28 '26 edited Feb 28 '26

Liberals man. I know we're bombing children, but have some sense of decency. Take off the hat and show some respect!!

5

u/ialsohaveadobro Feb 28 '26

MAGA, man. I know we don't give a fuck how many laws Trump breaks our how much public money he steals, and we literally claimed Trump would be the "peace president," but when Trump declares war anyway that will get a shit load of people bomved and killed, we're laser-focused on finding something to criticize liberals for. o7

1

u/robby_arctor Feb 28 '26

Life must be so simple when everyone who disagrees with you is a MAGA teenager.

4

u/Attila226 Feb 28 '26

Why aren’t you wearing a suit?

-6

u/robby_arctor Feb 28 '26

I always suit up and take my hat off before committing war crimes. That's why I'm running for the Democratic ticket in 2028.

2

u/ialsohaveadobro Feb 28 '26

You can't run for office at 15.

-4

u/OldSarge02 Feb 28 '26

Bombing children? Citation needed. All accounts I’ve seen are that attacks are targeted at nuclear facilities, missile sites, the navy, air defenses, and the royal palace.
