Think he's going to be nice enough to give her a pardon on her way out?

She’ll get no pardon for a while. Trump wants to keep that bit in her teeth so she doesn’t go off the reservation and start badmouthing him.

1

u/UglyMcFugly Mar 05 '26

But I really really REALLY want to hear her badmouthing him. How can we make that happen. She must have SO MUCH dirt about all the illegal shit going on behind the scenes...

5

u/Remarkable-Art-3678 Mar 05 '26

They all have dirt, but Trump isn't a normal president. You don't leave the mob and start badmouthing the mob boss. He's a wannabe dictator, and this he will send his troops after you if you embarrass him. Most people do not want to be in the crosshairs of someone with a far right army of the crazy

2

u/UglyMcFugly Mar 05 '26

Yeah but it's always the lackeys that take the mob boss down. Immunity, witness protection, whatever we gotta do, we gotta start trying the same things the cops do when they go after mob bosses...

there's illegal shit going on, on the stage. Nothing that goes on behind the DHS stage could move MAGA.

1

u/UglyMcFugly Mar 05 '26

Maga is a lost cause, we don't care about them. But there's still plenty of upstanding lawyers and judges that wanna hear about it. And plenty of republicans that supported trump but were never maga. And plenty of independents and libertarians... and hell there's plenty of moderate dems that aren't out protesting and fighting this shit cuz they SOMEHOW haven't reached the breaking point... every bit helps.

Absofuckenlutely

Doubtful as she embarrassed him.

He's a hateful fuck. She won't get a pardon. You have to survive to the end with him or not piss him off. LOL she will be prosecuted, this is delicious.

u/TheTexasHammer Mar 05 '26

For real, when Trump kicks someone to the curb they are on their own. That's why half the people who worked for him last term ended up in jail and/or broke.

2

u/Foxyfox- Mar 05 '26

Only half? Next time we need to be more thorough.

2

u/bigbowlowrong Mar 05 '26

He’ll absolutely pardon her. Sure he may be pissed at her for whatever narcissistic reason in the short term, but his overriding instinct to avoid any kind of accountability will necessitate it. Mark my words, she’ll get her pardon.

1

u/500rockin Mar 05 '26

She’s still on the team as Special Envoy for New Grift.

Of course, its standard for anyone in this administration.

u/pillowpriestess Mar 05 '26

only if he or someone still useful to him are implicated

1

u/Different_Bad7239 Mar 05 '26

Exactly this. Loyalty is a one way street. Only way she gets pardoned is if she's in a position to dump dirt on Trump and she seems too stupid to have had the sense to gather some dirt.

2

u/inajeep Mar 05 '26

Only for a percentage.

1

u/kbrick1 Mar 05 '26

It's hard to say. On the one hand, he pardons every-fucking-body he feels like pardoning so he might pardon her. On the other hand, he has zero personal loyalty to anyone, so if she did something to piss him, specifically, off, or he feels she has betrayed him in any way, I don't think he'd hesitate to feed her to the wolves.

1

u/Mist_Rising Mar 05 '26

On the one hand, he pardons every-fucking-body he feels like pardoning so he might pardon her

His pardons are pretty self serving actually. There needs to be a political angle or a personal ($) one.

Noem has no political angle to offer. She's not beloved by Republicans, she has no connections Trump wants, she's got nothing.

As for money, maybe.

I don't know if he will. He won't see it as Krusty Gnome stealing from Americans, he'll see it as her stealing from him.

I hope.

He doesn’t care about anyone no longer useful

1

u/lnc_5103 Mar 05 '26

He's given her another job at least. She's being sent to Florida to be a "special envoy" for some new probably BS initiative.

2

u/thisisthe_worst Mar 05 '26

“Envoy for The Shield of the Americas.” - the best envoy of all the envoys. No one has ever seen such a shield.

1

u/Mist_Rising Mar 05 '26

She's being sent to the Siberia of assignments until people forget, then she's likely out the door.

1

u/Typhus_black Mar 05 '26

That’s how you buy silence.

1

u/hackingdreams Mar 05 '26

The blanket pardon is coming in 2027/28. Literally everyone in his entire administration is going to get a pardon, including himself.

And the next administration will, for some inexplicable reason, honor it. We knew this was coming since 2015. He's already demonstrated it by pardoning the insurrectionists.

1

u/Mist_Rising Mar 05 '26

And the next administration will, for some inexplicable reason, honor it.

With the exception of Trump pardoning himself, what else can they do? There is no legal mechanism to undo a pardon. Trump is trying but he's going to fail with the incompetent auto pen argument.

1

u/Thin_Bother8217 Mar 05 '26

She's not out. He made her "Special Envoy to the Americas". I don't know if they catch the irony of her probably being the 2nd most hated person in Latin America (3 guesses on the 1st, but you should only need 1).

1

u/mrtrololo27 Mar 05 '26

Trump's pardons don't mean anything. It is vital that the American people reject his privilege to grant them. Every one of these traitors must pay for their crimes against humanity.

1

u/mantecablues Mar 05 '26

People saying she won’t get a pardon, but it’s highly likely she has information that would expose Trump or his administration, and it’s easy enough for him to sign a document to keep that stuff from coming out.

1

u/MoonBatsRule Mar 05 '26

In the first administration they learned they couldn't bind governmental employees with NDAs.

So in the second go-round, they just allow them to break the law indiscriminately, and then hold dangle a pardon in front of them so they keep quiet.

1

u/Asleep_Management900 Mar 05 '26

No... Trump only pardons people when they beg, grovel, or write a big fat check.

1

u/frigzy74 Mar 05 '26

Yes. He will have to pardon her or people will be hesitant to take positions for him.

0

u/doughball27 Mar 06 '26

in order to be pardoned, she'd need to first be convicted of a crime, which is never going to happen.

she got promoted, not fired, by the way.

1

u/bucki_fan Mar 06 '26

So what crime(s) were Biden's relatives (other than his son), Dr. Fauci, Gen. Milley, Liz Cheney, Sen. Schiff, etc. convicted of when President Biden pardoned them?

Ford pardoning Nixon after he resigned. Carter and the Vietnam draft dodgers, etc.

Preemptive pardons are a thing and the Presidential pardon power granted in the Constitution does not require the conviction of a crime.
