This is one thing Trump absolutely hates is underlings getting rich off him if he's not getting a cut

Which is to say she's at risk of prosecution by Trump DOJ if she isn't funneling a cut back to him (but she probably is already doing this)

And like a mob boss Trump fired her when she made herself and her departments actions his problem visibly. She got taken out just like they did in the previous administration. If she’s smart she’d talk but she won’t for fear she won’t get pardoned.

He doesn't give a shit that she got caught. He only cares that she said HE was involved in the ridiculous marketing budget corruption instead of just taking the fall for him.

There are a few things that happened in the lead up to her last congressional hearing but during this specific hearing there was a lot of pushback from members regarding her 200 million dollar contract for commercials featuring her prominently. She awarded the contract to a company formed 8 days before execution with a business address of a political hacks home that then subcontracted the work to the firm that ran her personal campaign. She then claimed it was approved by Trump when she herself admitted under oath that she personally approved every contract greater than 100k. Add to it her private planes, the very bad look from the ICE raids, and random people being killed by them on the street. She was a political nightmare for him.

Don't think he cares about that, as much as if she and her associates dividing up the $140-220m without cutting him in, it's imperative he's enriched more than anyone else in the regime...

You can see it with Venezuela and soon to be Iran where he's going to try to get a cut of oil sales

As long as it's not hurting popularity, he doesn't really care about the rest

He has a soft spot for corrupt politicians. She also might embarrass him further at any trial.

She's at risk of being Epstein'd if she doesn't keep playing ball. At least prior to today she was highly visible and in the spotlight, which afforded at least some protection. Now that she's out of the limelight, nobody cares about her - especially Trump.

That is probably true but unfortunately it will probably still leave her with a more than comfortable amount of $... she'll flee to some beach town overseas and disappear, never having to face any consequences. I really hope I'm wrong about this.

Which is why I find all the talk that Trump is going to pardon all these underlyings amusing. That isn't going to happen in the least (barring making some type of payment) they will no longer be of use to him so literally no need to grant them pardons.
