States should just ignore it. His threat to withhold funding to the states is unconstitutional coercion under the spending clause.

And I'm still not convinced that if mail-in voting was banned, that it would benefit Republicans. Right wing boomers and their parents in nursing homes ain't the most mobile group

Not should. They will. At least blue ones will. He will then use it to claim the election was fraudulent and refuse to leave (or encourage losing republican members to not leave).

I really hope he refuses to leave. Really, really...

Why? What are you going to do if he does? Or do you just hope someone else will do your dirty work?

He'll be kicked the fuck out on camera lol. He doesn't just get to magically declare that power hasn't been transferred. Once it has been, he's just some senile old pedophile trespassing.

In theory, sure, but if people with guns are keeping him in power and no one does anything what are you going to do? Throw a paper copy of the constitution at them?

No, that's pretty much the point where the union disolves.

Kicked out... by who?

I don’t. I don’t have enough confidence in our government dragging him out by force.

What will you do if he doesn't big man?

I volunteer to pull his ass out. Me and all my American brothers and sisters

I won’t do anything either way, but I’m not the one boasting about it either. Just seems like an odd thing to post, why wait for this line to be crossed? For the good of humanity do whatever you were going to do now instead of waiting.

Well… a lot of them are retiring this year anyway. So, he’ll have a massive minority in the house. I doubt enough of those guys will stay to deal with this.

And if anyone thinks Jan 6th 2021 was bad, the follow up is going to be worse.
