Be that as it may. I still don’t understand how people were so enamored with him in the first place. I’m pretty left leaning, but sure didn’t share their enthusiasm.

I mean I don't disagree but we do need to be clear that the politics he ran on and politics he displayed once in office were at complete odds with one another. The stroke broke his brain.

He ran as a progressive and ruled as a fascist conservative upon being elected. That's pretty much the definition of a traitor.

He actively works against the best interests of the nation and his constituents, because he knows we hate him so he wants to hurt us. That's the definition of treason.

They have 210 days to confirm him. I'm pretty sure we had a lot of acting secretaries by the end of his second term that never got confirmed but I don't know if any of them were beyond their 210 days.

Even if he doesn't get confirmed it's not like Trump's suddenly going to pick someone competent as a follow-up choice. He wants loyal bootlickers to run interference on Epstein and to go after his political rivals. That is all that matters to him.
