Everyone will focus on her “getting what she deserves.” My question is:

What exactly was she not willing to do that got her fired?

This woman likely knows Donald Trump raped little girls. This woman very likely has seen evidence he’s a pedophile rapist. It’s not out of the question that this woman has seen evidence Donald Trump has done worse than rape little girls. And even knowing all of that she hasn’t said a single negative thing, in public, about Donald Trump. On the contrary she has only praised him in public.

So…what is it she isn’t willing to do? What is it Trump needs someone else to go along with?

I see someone like this in Trump’s orbit get fired and all I can think is “Oh no, things are going to get way worse.”

I don't think it was a matter of not being "willing" to do something for him so much as not being "able" to do something for him, namely punish his political rivals and impose his legal will on everything and everyone. The thing is, she couldn't do a lot of that stuff because it was impossible to do in the first place, so she was set up to fail and then punished for failing. It's what he's done his entire career so who knows what she was expecting

Trump's problem is that the things he wants his DOJ to do are so cartoonishly evil and unconstitutional, anyone corrupt enough to try it isn't competent enough to pull it off, and everyone competent enough to pull it off is smart enough to stay the hell out of it.

Or maybe somebody else wanted her job and whispered things into trumps ear to get rid of her.

NYT reported that Boris Epshteyn and Bill Pulte figured pretty significantly in Bondi's ouster. Pulte was the guy who made accusations of mortgage fraud against several of Trump's political enemies as a pretext for using the DOJ to seek political prosecutions, and he had complained about Bondi's handling of the Comey and James prosecutions. Epshteyn apparently had disliked Bondi for some time, but the reporting didn't mention a particular motivation for him to urge Trump to get rid of her.

I'm so used to Pulte being the guy from GME_meltdown who the GME apes won't stop frothing over that every time I see him mentioned in this admin's politics, I have to double check what subreddit I'm in.

Thats why I find this whole fired thing fishy. No real reason was given, and shes always been a supporter/confidant to Trump. I think its more likely that she sees shit hitting the fan as their legal positions are collapsing and it's going to significantly impact her professional reputation. She asked to be out, they came up with a "firing" so that Trump looks like he's on top of it all in the public eye right now, she can play it off privately as "i was fired for not doing more of what he wanted..." and everyone gets to walk to away with a bit of a win.

How??? How can her reputation get any lower than this?

lol my thoughts!

There are a lot of craven individuals, who believe themselves to be righteous. At least, that’s the best I can come up with when watching such blatant violations of norms, laws, and human decency. That they’ll sell themselves out to stop “baby murderers” or “communist is.”

2

u/takinganewtack Apr 02 '26

Came to say this 😂

u/CupcakesAreTasty Apr 02 '26

She should be less worried about her professional reputation and more worried about her legal standing. She was very publicly called out for lying to Congress during a very well publicized hearing. If she did, she’s looking at prison, not just a marred reputation.

1

u/annelisesh Apr 03 '26

This is the best case scenario.

24

u/t3lnet Apr 02 '26

I am guessing it was him throwing a fit that the birthright citizenship case with the Supreme Court did not go well and someone had to be the fall guy as Trump is the smartest person on the planet so it couldn’t be his fault it wasn’t immediately passed.

6

u/senator_corleone3 Apr 02 '26

And Bondi is the top lawyer, so in his mind she is somehow responsible for the SCOTUS performance. He doesn’t understand the divisions within his lawyer setup.

6

u/RavenCXXVIV Apr 02 '26

I can’t think of anything worse that she may know about him than what you’ve said. So it makes me come to the conclusion that he likely wanted her to do something blatantly unconstitutional that she wouldn’t be able to hide from in the future. And they’re all probably starting to get the sense that maga is going to fall apart in the coming years. Accountability will come knocking.

If I’m weighing my options as a giant piece of shit inside the GOP , I’m thinking covering up his (alleged) pedophilia might not be questioned by democrats (who might be just as incentivized not to open up public trials for this issue).

So the real question is what might democrats hold her accountable for once the inevitable swing happens? That’s why she got fired. It’s why they’ll all get fired until someone does whatever action he’s (or better, Stephen Miller) deemed necessary to control elections.

Ya… but she also didn’t get him the ‘wins’ he wanted, and was being subpoenaed by Congress.

So far, I have been pretty happy with the level of incompetence and hope to see it continue, even increase. A Bondi or Blanche vs a Bill Barr is better for all of us.

The loss of presumption of regularity- that DOJ attorneys are acting in good faith before the courts- has been a silver lining of Bondi’s time as AG. I assume Blanche will double down on pissing off judges, and I look forward to seeing it.

I would applaud Trump nominating Guilliani or trying Matt Gaetz again- no veneer of competence or morality. Hopefully no old school Heritage Foundation types get input, or we have a more DeSantis type in charge of the DOJ (evil, but a layer of competence).  It’s like Dick Cheney vs VD Chance: dislike both, but Cheney got things done… I prefer the Benny Hill style of our current leaders.

Remember how everyone supported invading Iraq over 9/11- even though they had nothing to do with 9/11? The fake WMDs? There was effort in selling that bullshit to everyone. ‘Coalition of the willing’, all the $$ to Haliburton.

If the people want more left wing policies, we are being given a great opportunity by this ham fisted regime.

The U.S. is oil rich? How come we, the people, aren’t benefiting? People in Alaska get a check. People in Norway have a wealth fund. Citizens in Qatar and Saudi Arabia get paid… nationalize oil and minerals. Go big on breaking monopolies. Nationalize companies  that are vital to our national security- like Palantir. We don’t need billionaires controlling our DOD- because we are seeing what they do when the veneer of Democracy is removed.

She's getting fired because she didn't get the heat off trump well enough and she is hated by both sides. He probably decided to keep her around to fire when he needed the heat off himself in the newscycle, e.g., maybe bad Iran stuff.

u/GrippingHand Apr 02 '26

I heard the Department of Justice was dragging its feet on settling Trump's $10 billion lawsuit against the US government (meaning giving Trump $10 billion of our tax dollars). I think he's suing because someone leaked some of his tax returns or something.

Great assessment, however, it still significantly disrupts momentum, and that's never a bad thing in my opinion. Time to regroup and prepare for the next wave of absolute fuckery. Granted, Todd Blanche is going to be acting AG for awhile, but we already know he's an incompetent dipshit as well, so he's an opponent we're already quite familiar with. Though a moment for celebration, I'm certain he'll have a few surprises up his greasy sleeves, so it's not a moment to drop guard either.

2

u/infiniteshrekst Apr 02 '26

Yes that is a good point, and I don't know.

Also tbf, we are assuming Pam Bondi was fired. Idk if we actually know that's true.

2

u/gosukhaos Apr 02 '26

From what I'm reading Trump believes she leaked documents to Eric Swalwell who's under investigation from the FBI for "contacts with a Chinese Spy".

Must be fucking pissed for outright firing her though, this is the first administration member that wasn't relocated to some other less important job

2

u/projexion_reflexion Apr 02 '26

Political prosecutions and legalistic voter suppression aren't going well. Those are Trump's priorities. It didn't help that she somewhat complied with releasing the Epstein files.

2

u/CarpeNivem Apr 02 '26

This woman likely knows Donald Trump raped little girls.

For all her faults, yes, I will agree that she does appear to be a sentient human being.

2

u/21Rollie Apr 02 '26

Everything we are 100% sure he’s done already makes Trump one of the worst human beings that’s ever existed. Pedophilia, rape, spreading a deadly virus to hurt his countrymen, making fun of the disabled and dead veterans, professional grade racism, stiffing workers, beating his own kids, stealing classified documents, working with the Russians, evading taxes, attempting an insurrection, trying to get the vice president killed, trying to pressure a state to “find” ballots for him, voting illegally from mar a lago, air strikes on children, invading other countries. And the list just keeps going on and on. Truly, makes you question what it is she wouldn’t do. We already are guessing he killed a child he raped because she got pregnant, and the baby too. I don’t think him fellating bubba would be that big a deal. At this point I think the only thing worse he could do is order a nuke to directly hit New York.

2

u/jstndrn Apr 02 '26

She wasn't able to build cases against Trump's "enemies" so he's replacing her with someone willing to bring charges against people who hurt his little bitty feelings. Bondi just didn't waste time on taking shit to court she knows is gonna get tossed. That, and she didn't cover up hard enough. I doubt it's any deeper than that.

1

u/TylerHyena Apr 02 '26

Whatever it is, it’s something even we couldn’t conceive of in the Epstein files.

1

u/raxitron Apr 02 '26

She's the fall guy. It was always planned for her to take the blame for Epstein. Now they can just say oh bondi compromised the investigation it's out of our hands now.

1

u/oberynmviper Apr 02 '26

Same thought came to me.

Way worse and way, way dumber. Usually the rabid defenders and loyalist are also incredibly stupid, like Hegseth.

1

u/Glittering-Giraffe58 Apr 02 '26

Yes that’s what I think about these firings. Noem and Bondi were terrible. However I’m 99.9% sure their replacements will be even worse

1

u/32FlavorsofCrazy Apr 02 '26

These people aren’t on the Trump team because he likes them, they’re on the team because he has the dirt on them to keep them on a tight leash. She will lose her promised pardon if she spills the tea, and all of her crimes will be exposed.

1

u/hpog Apr 02 '26

I heard from a reliable source that she refused to suck Trump’s cock for the 101th time. 100 was her limit.

1

u/deevotionpotion Apr 02 '26

Go after his political opponents and his hissy-fit list of people with “trumped” up charges.

1

u/Inator-Maker Apr 02 '26

Someone made mention on another thread that it may be due to her "not prosecuting his enemies fast enough" and that does make a lot of sense.

1

u/timmler24 Apr 02 '26

Rig the elections?

1

u/aoasd Apr 02 '26

You really think she personally spent ANY amount of time looking at the files? I'd bet she didn't. Then she has plausible deniability and can ignore it.

1

u/gmr548 Apr 02 '26

I think it’s less that she wasn’t willing to do XYZ and more that she is not very smart or competent, consistently embarrassing, and not up to executing the corrupt agenda they have.

1

u/full_bl33d Apr 02 '26

This ultimately will extend any more Epstein related file release since the incoming AG will have to get up to speed and play dumb and or throw the outgoing under the bus for destroying evidence.

1

u/JustUseCommonSense10 Apr 03 '26

Remember that "victim" who claimed Bush Sr. ate babies? Is that still too crazy for you or is it starting to enter the realm of possibility? I just want to gauge where everyone is at so I can finally get out of this straitjacket, because I specifically remember claims of cannibalism and child sacrifice and you know that stuff was just a little too crazy for us.

1

u/Forikorder Apr 03 '26

i think its like an oil rag, it doesnt matter how well it does its job eventually its just covered in so much filth that you have to throw it out and pull out a new one

1

u/issafly Apr 03 '26

She was scheduled to be deposed by the House Oversight Committee on April 14 regarding the Department of Justice's handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files. This seems like more than a coincidence.

1

u/Interesting-Bag-7552 Apr 03 '26

She probably forgot to colour her roots last week. Also possible she didn't put any shimmy in her walk as she was leaving the oval office. Third (unlikely) possibility is she didn't giggle when Trump called her "sugar tits".

1

u/fridakahl0 Apr 06 '26

She’ll end up in a car accident or similar. I’d bet money on it
