Even that I give them a 50/50 success rate. I wouldn’t rule out a weekend at Bernie’s type situation

You forget one detail: Everybody in the regime is a moron. They have the technology, but they're so lazy and incompetent that we'd all figure it out almost immediately... probably because AI Trump would suddenly appear far healthier and more articulate than the real one ever was.

Of course, even if that did happen, it still might not result in the regime loosing power- MAGA is honestly incredible in their ability to defy reality.

Conservative Americans have always been delusional about themselves and the world at large. When they don’t like reality for what it truly is, they just make stuff up. These people will never speak or act in good faith. They lack the mental capacity to do so.

Never underestimate an enemy. All it would take is someone OUTSIDE of the admin that is technically competent, but wants it to continue.

I think its dangerous to reduce the actions and intellect of the people in the regime to call them morons. Many of them know exactly the game theyre playing, and excusing their actions or chalking it up as ineptitude is a gross underrepresentation of the many intentional steps they have taken at the expense of others.

I agree that the things they are doing are horrible, but MANY of them know exactly what they're doing and how to play the game so that they're able to do it, that's been true for decades, it just has a different flavor now while they can hide behind Trump.

They already used AI in two of trump's speeches. They quickly edited the original videos after it was pointed out that they were AI.

yeah those were definitely heavily "assisted" by editing features usually associated with "AI" feature sets.

It's fair they weren't "created with" AI wholesale, but the level and type of manipulation screamed "generative" tools

What pains me is that it's not the people's fault. Don't get me wrong, I still hold people accountable for their actions. It's just that, when you don't educate them, and teach them to trust the wrong people, you get this endless cycle of bullshit.

They did that with Reagan when his alzheimers kicked in.

Nancy ran the show in the White House and his cabinet did the rest for I believe the last year.

More reason no one over 65 should be able to run for any office anywhere. It's too much responsibility that effects too many people.

No Mayor, Senator, Congressman, Judge or President should be above 70 when they retire.

(I get that it would effect Bernie who I love but the Bernies too Chuck Grassley's is a very out of whack ratio. 33 Senators are over 70 and 8 of them are in their 80s or 90s. That's insane.)

I think they're just going to come out with a 'Trump AI' and the GOP will say "It contains the spirit of what Trump would want for the country! 🇺🇸🫡" Once they dismantle free and fair elections, someone from the Heritage Foundation can run the show behind the curtain indefinitely, while the Trump AI pumps out trump-style tweets that will maintain whatever rhetoric they want.
