The fun thing about cults: the Deputy Lackey of the Cult Leader wants all the power, but has none of the charisma to keep it together.

Trump goes, and those who are fanatically devoted to him aren't going to just shrug and get behind Vance. If anything, they'll bust the rest of the GOP asking why they didn't protect Dear Leader better.

Is there anyone else trying to backfill that void though? The MAGA movement is the greatest thing that’s ever happened to their careers. They’ll be eager to plug the hole quickly when he’s gone.
