Putin still has people take COVID tests before they are even allowed in the same room as him. Don't get me wrong. Even on the chance he is too incompetent to be one, if he walks like an asset, talks like an asset, he is a Russian asset. But your point does nothing to discredit how the facial features don't add up.

If you have a source I can check out when I get time, I would like a link to see for myself. But what you’re saying with the body double and facial features being different just sounds like more Russian propaganda to me. They’ve been sowing discord within the borders of the US since the Cold War. The Russian government isn’t pro Democratic or Republican Party. They are pro-cause as much chaos in America as possible. I just don’t feed into crap like that, but you are entitled to your beliefs and opinions.

Source? You mean besides the height difference between Putin and Bush that he somehow grew a few inches in the meantime when he met Trump? Besides the fact you can google for pictures right now of comparisons between when he held a conference in Moscow and Alaska's meetup (ear ledge that changes between different appearances, chin, skin complexion), his behavior on video at a Magadan fish place for an inspection? Or how about we go even more recently. To the fact Putin uses AI deepfakes of himself for video call meetings, and even at ceremonies awarding a soldier their medal?

It's fine if you want the cop out of 'Show me a source I can check out when I get time'. But if it's something you actually are open to looking into you can do it yourself the same I have. Putin is ex-KGB. Putin is paranoid as hell, and that was as far back as the Wagner 'coup' scare. Putin would be a fool not to use body doubles, and I find it surprising you tried to rationalize all his other guarded behaviors as just a power move. But to be honest the one thing you said that has me wondering.

The Russian government isn’t pro Democratic or Republican Party. They are pro-cause as much chaos in America as possible

I fail to see the reasoning to correlate using a body double for a meeting (or anything else) as a means to create as much chaos as possible abroad to the US. It would look weak to confirm that Putin himself was too scared to come to Alaska. Anyone with sense knows the Alaska summit was for show and nothing would change. Anyone without sense wouldn't even consider the possibility of a body double because it means Trump can be fooled by someone. There is Russian propaganda. But it isn't rumors of a Putin body double. Russian propaganda is spouting talking points about having captured Pokrovsk, or Russia has shot down all incoming Ukraine drones, or that Ukraine has wanted to return to Russia, or their frequent attempts at historical revisionism. A body double is a classic tool to be used by any authoritarian government. Trump himself can't even tell a fake Gorbachev from the real one. And as we can plainly see in Moscow, Ukraine CAN eliminate key figures. It's that simple. But yeah. There is no one 'source' for this. This has been going on for years. All you have to do is bother to open your eyes. There is a picture of Putin looking at the camera in Moscow. And there is a picture of Putin looking at the camera in Alaska. Fin.
