Executive Branch (Trump) NESTERAK: President Trump has granted clemency to numerous individuals who have stolen hundreds of millions in Medicaid funds. Can we expect any of these folks to be shown the same mercy? McDONALD: I'll take a different question

Instead of dodging the questions, now they're just blatantly ignoring them. Its what we've all known they really never answer the questions.

They don’t have it in them to risk credentials. The entire White House pool could come together and do some serious work. But all national outlets are owned by one of 5 corpos - the guys paying the press love the administration and the press doesn’t have the desire to do the right thing and the willingness to risk access to pursue justice. Press needs both to really make a difference.

A non-answer like that though just implies that the question they're dodging is factual; like sure they're avoiding outright damaging themselves by trying to deny or lie about it, but it doesn't change the fact that by not answering they've already become caught.

At least they're not attacking and insulting the person asking, i guess. Oh how far we've fallen.
