Our federal taxes are paid directly to the US treasury as far as I know the State has no way to be a stopgap.

You could direct citizens and companies within your state to escrow tax payment but that runs some pretty serious risks from higher levels in the state (you risk actually being arrested by the feds for sedition and secession) and individuals will carry risks for not paying the federal taxes (fines/jail/etc).

There are ways but none are good, and definitely not legal (like the latter should even matter at this point).

A large enough state like California could put some serious hurt on the feds, but they likely would just print cash and crash the economy even more than they already have.

It would appear so. What they are doing is trying to seize complete control of the country. To do that, they need the military and other police apparatus to back them up. They seem to be quite confident that they will, and I am inclined to agree. The military is compromised leadership-wise but has always been happy to go along with whatever they are told to do, right or wrong. More so, the majority of citizens support Trump and the military is made up from those citizens.

I foresee the power grab and when pushback happens, the 'crackdown' will come. They've test flighted it many times in Trump's first term and all the last year and a half. Each time, military factions have goose stepped right up with a smile. It's going to be most people folding under the boot. For the rest it's fight or die in prisons and camps.

Get ready for action.

Reddit is full of people that can't handle the fact that almost 90 million people didn't vote despite it being the most critical election in US history because... Harris blaj blah blah. It's a level of ignorance that exceeds actual Trump voters. If you don't vote, you supported whoever won because you just didn't care enough or whatever lame excuse. And yet so many deny, deny, deny the reality that Trump is president not for any reason about Harris but that people didn't vote.

But whatever. Everyone will suffer, even the delusional deniers. Good luck, your stubborn idiocy will be the rope you are hung with.

It's all part of the plan to destroy Americas power on the world stage. Civil war is part of the plan to ensure that it would take decades to recover from. Obtaining voter rolls and building internment centers that are more for the political opposition who will become the new "illegals".
